When Herbie mentioned how the 01 Canes would stack the line with 9 in the box and 71' Nebraska wouln't be able to run the option against them. Am I wrong but I didn't think NU ran that much option back then, in fact didn't NU lead the Big 8 in passing? That was hands down the best program I HAVE ever seen on T.V. To actually watch Herbstreit almost have a temper-tantrum on national television was priceless. Along with Switzer telling Herbie that he would have never recruited him, Mmm wonder why?? Because he wasn't very good maybe. And all the comments from the old coaches on those younger punks that never coached a game in there life, but are supposed experts. What is the win total between Switzer and Holtz?? And Switzer I love you and miss OU, and way to stick up for T.O. God I loved that show. #1 and #2 greatest college football teams in the HISTORY of CFB, GBR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That pumps me up, wish it would make the players think when they put that "N" on what they are actually wearing.

Get what's out there but don't over recruit like Franky then you you start getting those 50-60 ranked recruiting classes. Typically there might be 3-4 worth getting but I say pound the streets in Texas, California, and Florida. Let Iowa State have the 2 star recruits out of NE

BJAX is a great back out of the ACE or I but I would like to see Lucky used out of the shotgun for zone reads, and counters. I think he has fantastic vision and explosiveness and getting him to the perimeter is where I think he would shine. Just my .02

I never felt bad for him, he's the one who accepted the job and responsibilites that go along with coaching. But I highly respect what he said, even though I do like him it was the first time that he showed me any emotion, that wasn't aimed at a ref or OU fans. He was so robotic since he came here and through that 5-6 season you just didn't know if he gave a sh#t about this program. Hats off to you BC, your closer and closer to becoming a Husker.

My first Husker game I attended was KU vs Neb in 00. I wasn't drunk or cussing just rooting and people were telling me to shut up and to sit down. The wife and I still talk about that day what a joke' spend 50 bucks on a ticket to sit on your hands!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe how dead Husker fans were compared to most other college games I had been to. I am certainly against public intoxication and cussing, what are we sCUm but we need to get excited during a football game.

Hey how do you stop the long ball??? We play it here at work and you can stop the run but the long ball kills me, no matter what team I am they base the DB's abilities after Grixby I guess

I think over the years I have met 200 guys over 6'2" in SD, NE, IA, and KS that played for the Huskers
