Two things. Unfortunately I get their reasoning. both Sparty and Boise know their secondary is trash so Sparty wants to test it and if they don't test it then they will just gang up on Bell running. And they're really just throwing it up on the sideline. No read for the QB and good chance of drawing silly PI calls. It's like watching a bad NFL offense.

Or something new - trick double reverse right back into the defenders.

Secondary looked good early. LB should be good. Haven't seen anything to suggest D isn't as good as advertised.

They caught a break with that soft coverage on 3rd and 9... and then they fumbled it.

Count me in the Bell believers. I didn't think he was much of a back coming into the season, but that was a fantastic run when MSU really, really needed it. P.S. I went over 2000 posts and didn't even notice.

And, as I say that, BSU drops Bell for a big loss.

I have to agree with Woody. If MSU can get the ball to those WR's, that offense will start clicking. BSU is just not the same team they've been the last few years. Still a decent team, but Sparty should be able to pull away with the game in East Lansing.

People really need to learn the difference between fact and opinion. Er, the thing you quoted IS a fact. Most of the rest of the stuff he said (that Martinez nearly always times it improperly or doesn't throw it on the numbers) was not. No. The statement "hard to catch" is subjective and cannot therefore be a fact. Alright, you've got me. But he clearly meant "harder" to catch and that's fact. It requires more of the body's energy when you have to move your arms further from the body, and the hand-eye coordination requirement is higher. "Harder" is still subjective. I'd think most rational people would agree with that statement, but it's still not a fact. The <edit: third> sentence is actually two facts used to support the <edit:second sentence> which is an opinion.
