Today, I received an e-mail at work, talking about a rumor going around that NU would be wearing all red football uniforms this Saturday (red out around the world), with new helmets that have the block-style "N" on the helmet. Something about these changes are an introduction to the new uniform/helmet design that we will wear for our 1st year of the Big Ten. There even was an attachment showing pics of the uniforms and helmets. Sorry, I didn't forward the e-mail home or I would share it. Anyone else hear about this?

Herbie has been calling the game in Boise all evening -- so I wouldn't value his opinion a whole lot at this time (or ever). I'm sure he hasn't even seen the husker score, or had time to review the game in detail. The husker game this evneing was a complete wreck. how can you say that? what would it have been if we lost? i am being absolutely serious. if a win is a 'complete wreck', what would a loss have been. it cannot be more of a wreck than a 'complete wreck'. you cannot have more of something if it is 'complete'. you want a complete wreck, go to espn3.com and watch ucla at tu, that was a complete wreck. Your joking ... right? We beat a 0-2 FCS team by 14 points at home. The defense saved our butt's -- if it wasn't for them this easily could have been a loss. Beating a winless FCS team by 14 @ home is quivalent to losing to a Major BCS Conference Team @Home imho. I wasn't a math major, but 4-0 is not the same as 3-1. Even Texass fans would agree today!

Ok, well in that spirit, darn you Texass for losing to David Spade and UCLA! Now, you have threatened our chance at getting college gameday here in Lincoln for 10/16. Plus, we've probably lost any chance of that game being a night game. And, it would have been sweeter to beat Texass if they were unbeaten and a top 5 team. Bah humbug!!!

Calm down haters. How many fans can look themselves in the mirror and say that they were as fired up/intense about watching this game compared to last week? That's what I thought. So, how can you expect 17-22 year old kids not act in the same manner? Pelini's teams have always responded well the next game after a poor showing, so that's bad news for K-Sux!
