I just need to get my home game apparel in order. My away game apparel is kickin' some serious booty. Much like Bo and the coaches, I am shaking up the home game apparel to see if there is anything that can be done to reduce distractions. Old school cap will possibly be brought out of retirement. It served us well in mid 90s. They make red duct tape now, so I can replace the gray duct tape and make it almost like new. You know what they say..."if you can't duck it, f#@k it!" At least it will look better than it does now. Should I go for the white Husker tee under the red home replica jersey? The red husker tee for the red-out affected our catching abilities, can't do that again.

Well, we had better prep ourselves, because we could lose this weekend and next weekend. I think they are both a toss up.

Yeah that! Not sure if it's a good sign, but Rangers PR department is calling for a Red-Out at the ball park tonight. They want fans to wear Red. Apparantly, they missed a certain college football game last Saturday. The only thing is the Rangers are 1-12 in the playoffs when wearing red. Are baseball players superstitious? BTW.......I win ....again.

What if we lose a shootout? OSU 48 NU45. We put up 250 running, 200 passing and the D gives up 200 passing and 200 running? The difference in the game being penalties and we give up a punt return TD and Taylor fumbles twice on our side of the field and throws a pick 6. Do we scream for Carl's ouster, who will be held "responsible" for the mistakes? Will people want a game manager QB then? Or will it be freshman mistakes are ok because Taylor is getting experience for next year. There is no guarantee he gets the starting position next year if every position is an open competition. Perhaps Carnes is better. How will everyone feel if we threw away a few games for the sake of experience, only to have that experience not mean anything next year, which it shouldn't, judging by how things were handled this year.

I'm surprised a mod hasn't posted, then locked, thus guaranteeing victory. This little oversight makes me the winna! I will happily forgo this hollow victory for a real one vs. OSU. GM at my former golf course is an alum.....and he is rather reptilian in a Ferengi sort of way.
