I just talked to the manager at Boston's (Off LaCrosse between the Mall and Outback Steakhouse) and he said that they are getting the WM vs. Nebraska game this saturday!!! He also said that they will probably televise all the Husker games this year (PPV and regular broadcasts) Like I previously stated, I am most likely starting a Husker Alumni chapter for the Blackhills area and would like to make Boston's the official watch site for the Husker games. Please join us at Boston's for the games. The more Husker fans that we have show up will put us on priority for the big screens, service, and the best seating. Tell all your friends, neighbors, and fellow husker fans in the area to throw on some red and head on over this Saturday and all the following ones as well!!! GO BIG RED!!!

That's awesome..I just got 4 tickets for the SJSU game for there seats 1-4 so if any of you have seats near there for the game come by and say hi!!

I am curious to see Barry Turner this year. He could turn around from last year and possibly NFL worthy by the end of this season, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Well I am in the Air Force and the most likely aircraft would be whatever the Neb Air Nat guard has which is most likely F-16's or F-18's. F-22's would be awesome but they would have to come on special request from another base. I work around B-1's and I think that would be an awesome request for a B-1 fly over at super sonic. Here the boom and feel the rush. That would be a great start to a Husker game!

Does anybody know if these seats sound good? Sec38 Row48 there isn't anything obstructing the view is there? I know I will have to turn around to see the Huskervision but how inconvienant is it? Thanks for any help!

I am really good friends with one of the managers at Boston's and I just called him and he said he is going to find out tonight if they are getting it or not. He sounded pretty optimistic though. He sadi there has been quite a few Nebraska fans calling there and requesting it as well. I also mentioned to him that I am thinking about starting an Alumni Chapter/Watch Group here in Rapid since there isn't one established yet. I told him how successful the one's that I participated in Tucson, AZ were and he said that Boston's would definitely be interested in becoming the watch site for Nebraska football in Rapid City. I will post what I find out tonight by 10p.m. or so. Hopefully it all works out as planned. GBR

I jsut saw it too, he picked us as the "Under the radar team that could win their conference." He said remember the name Joe Ganz- he will be throwing it all over the field. I just can't believe an actual positive message about Nebraska football came from a ESPN sportscaster. And Kirk at that!

I am still looking for Rapid City fans, or at least a place that might show the first 3 PPV games. I haven't been searching real hard, but in the next day or 2 I am going to be calling around to find a place to watch the games. I am also thinking about starting an Alumni Chapter here around Rapid. If anyone sees this and is interested please let me know. Hopefully we can get an official watch site setup through this year.

I totally agree with everyone else about Mason. I watched his videos over and over again...then showed them to my friends as well. I remember back in the recruiting section of the board that people were comparing his hitting and aggressiveness to that of a John Lynch. I think that he has tons and tons of talent. He has a nose for laying a big hit and making the tackle no matter what. I think he was a highly underrated recruit...but in time he will show what he's all about! This kid will be a star for the Huskers...mark it down now!

So I was looking through the 2008 media guide and I noticed that there are no QB's listed under the 2008 signees section. Didn't we sign Kody Spano as a QB? Maybe I wasn't paying good enough attention through the offseason, but did he not make the grade or something? Hopefully someone knows the 411 on his situation.

Well thats not what I wanted to hear. Hopefully I can find something here in the next few weeks! I don't know what I will do if I can't see the PPV's this year. I think it's kinda sad that there isn't a Husker watch spot in Rapid but I know of at least 2 in Tucson, AZ that played all the PPV's. I'm depressed now!

I just moved from Tucson, AZ up to Rapid City, SD and I am looking for anyone that knows of a good watch site here in Rapid. Tucson had a great bunch of Husker fans and I am hoping to find the same up here in Rapid, especially since it is that much closer to the holy land!!!
