I thought this was a pretty cool reply to the reporter from LA. I went to college in Crete so I thought he made a good point. Dear TJ of the LA Times...... I can understand your concerns about our lifestyle...In my hometown of Crete, Nebraska, located about 20 miles southwest of Lincoln, Our lifestyle is certainly "Un Californiaiish". Do you realize that: 1. I live 1/4 mile from my Veterinary Clinic so my commute to work is all of 20 seconds. 2. I live in a house with about 5000 sq. ft....own 7 acres, and can catch a 5 lb bass, right off of my deck. 3. I live about 1/2 mile from "gangs" of Turkey, deer, Canadian Geese and bobcats and none of them are "armed". 4. Your Pete Carrol coached guys have had a nice run of 58-6 these past 5 years which is second only to my Huskers who went 60 and 3 from 93-97 with 3 National Championships. 5. I can spell "Murder" but there hasn't been one in these parts for at least my 50 years. 6. My house has a lock on its door.....but we have never had to use it. 7. In Crete, People spend $100,000 on houses......not cars 8. When I go to church, I care about the other 300 members because I have known most of them....most of my life. 9. My kids can walk to school and walk around downtown and in shopping malls without a guarded escort. 10.On a clear day, I can see the Capital 25 miles away......I'm not even sure what "Smog" is. 11.......And last but not least......I am about 4 fairway woods from a golf course where it costs $9 to play. I would invite you to spend some time with me the week before the USC game, but our village already has an idiot and currently, we are not advertising for anyone else to take his place.......As Always in Huskerville...GFL

All very good points. Just proves there is a lot of room for improvement. I would strongly agree with halftime adjustment and willingness to change game plan when needed.

I don't know much about many other state's fans, but CO is pretty huge. My GF is from CO and we went up to Estes Park last summer and there are 2 strictly Husker stores there. Jesse Kosch actually is the owner of one of them. I would suggest going up there if you have the chance. Jesse will have plenty of Husker football to talk about (mainly about himself). The cool thing about that town is with 2 Huskers shops, they don't even have a strictly Buffs, RAMS, or even BRONCOS store. Thought that was pretty sweet.

Yes it is. ESPN 11 a.m. I am overly optimistic every year. However, I would like nothing more, than to pound Wake into the ground from start to finish. The confidence (and recognition) that would bring into the USC game would be priceless. It's about time the BIG RED becomes the BIG RED we all know it can be. I'm ready to start striking fear into not only the BIG 12 (South mostly) but the entire nation. I think us as die hards have waited long enough for this to happen. Who's with me? Here are the other three with different backgrounds. I dont know how they look on your monitors, but I viewed these on an older monitor and I thought it looked a little dark. If you just go into some image editing program and brighten them up they will look as they should.

With some time on my hands and a love of photoshop I did this little diddy. I actually have this photo in several different background colors (white, red/white gradient, black/red gradient) If you would like to see those let me know. Hope you like. I was wondering if anyone has come across a front view picture of memorial stadium. I really need to have the entire stadium shot. I need it for part of a wallpaper that I am working on. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it. It would be this view but the entire stadium. 14 days 11 hours...ahhhh!!!

I'd have to look around. It's something that I did a while ago. I also need to clean it up a little. Check back soon and I'll let you know. If I find a good copy...any chance I could get a big print out? D.I.A.S.O.R. I noticed that too. This is not the best copy of this. I'll get that out.
