  1. North Carolina might have the best defense in CFB next year. They have 5 (possibly 6) all-america candidates, and will probably have 5 players go in the first 2 rounds of the draft. Not to mention they had a higher ranked defense than us last year We had the #1 scoring D in CFB, on almost 100 (almost an additional game and a half) more plays (minimum) than any of the other top 25 Defenses. Carolina may have had a better "yardage" D, but Nebraska's was certainly the best in the land.
  2. They are. Nebraska's home football games against Western Kentucky (Sept. 4), and Idaho (Sept. 11) will be available on a pay-per-view basis. Big 12 Special Order Sports, FOX Sports Net's pay-per-view division will produce the pay-per-view telecasts and the games will be available on participating cable systems in Nebraska as well as nationally on participating satellite and telco systems. For the first time Nebraska's pay-per-view contests will be available in high-definition. Suggested retail price for the pay-per-view telecasts is $39.95 and full ordering details will be available in the coming weeks. http://www.huskers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=100&ATCLID=204965644
  3. That would be the most logical imho. They have NU as a "Pro Style" offense. Whatever.
  4. I'm trying to find on of these... Minus the autograph. I can't seem to find them anywhere.
  5. ?Prince came in as a RB, and Glenn was a RB until his senior year.
  6. Well, NU got shafted in the team ratings department... Our O is not an A- (B+ at best) but our D should certainly be better than a B+ (A is fair). Link: http://www.pastapadre.com/2010/06/16/ncaa-football-11-team-ratings
  7. That was from two guys playing against each other the first time at E3. Unfortunately, playing good defense is going to be hard in this version if the Demo is any indication. There's definitely going to need to be some slider tweaking..
  8. Where did you find that picture at? Here: http://www.pastapadre.com/2010/06/15/e3-2010-day-one-quick-impressions#more-23432 Also, the summary screen.
  9. Now that Teambuilder is live, we can preview the rosters. I went through and named the ones they had. http://www.easports.com/teambuilder#/school/2250890292:1276692527 Click "Rosters" on the right. It's not perfect (the OL could use some work, and Niles Paul should be rated a bit better) but it's better than many of the past ones. Now that we have formation subs, we can make the "Peso" work too.
  10. Yup. And with our WCO "multiple" offense.....well.... It worked out pretty well with a healthy o-line and QB in 2008. We almost won, and our D did little to slow TT down in that game. The "multiple" isn't the problem. Combine the 08 Offense (or even just Ganz) and we are 13-1, or better last year.
  11. Pretty much what everyone here has stated. Plus, our Offense sucking bad made short fields for TT, hence the higher score, but low yardage.
  12. That does not make them the best TEAM though. That makes them a team with great individuals. Big difference.
  13. I wouldn't believe a single thing emanating from any Rivals site at this point.
  14. Got any facts or stats to back up your statement? Nope. Keeeeeeeeeeeep trolling.
  15. 1995 Nebraska. Why? Because they were better. End of Thread.
  16. Pretty sure that the loss to OU in 2008 was by more than 1 point. I stopped watching that game after the first quarter, i was so ashamed. But yes it was more than 1 point and more than 6 in OT. ?While we did get our heads handed to us by OU, the OT loss to TT (31 - 37) was by 6 because their kicker missed the XP.
  17. I've been watching the URL pattern for each preview the last few days, and I was pretty sure what NU's would be once they got into the top 19 teams.
  18. Yeah I noticed that one. He ain't perfect (and covering 119 teams nobody will be), but he is pretty much the best.
  19. This isn't officially out yet (he has us ranked 5) as our preview date is June 12th. But what the heck, I found it, and my Mom always told me to share. Link to PDF file. "Despite a 6-2 reg ssn B12 record, NU was actually -12.3 ypg. Despite those factors they are the most talented team in the Big 12 North and 6 of my 9 sets of power ratings call for a 12-0 regular season."
  20. Some of you are on crack. I'd take Jerrod Johnson in a heartbeat, and he is easily on of the better QB's in the country. 2009 Big 12 QB stats Johnson's 2009 stats
  21. Whatever, I like learning as much as possible about all conference teams, and as many teams around the country as possible.
  22. 7-1 is only 8 games so it doesn't count the CCG. Correct. They are assuming 1 conference loss, and a loss in the Big 12 CCG to OU. So they're saying Nebraska loses to Texas, Oklahoma loses to Texas, and Texas gets upset by aTm and Mizzou? They don't list specific wins and losses, just a record for each team. From my reading, I'm guessing they have us losing to aTm during the regular season, and Texas losing to us and OU. OU's loss is probably a Stoops special to aTm or Missouri...
