  1. He will be paying off the TO center. It also confirms other rumors that he is giving $40 MIL to school. I wasn't sure about this either but the source has been spot-on so far so I posted it. Hell he gave $50BILLION to Bill Gates so who knows. Also, it is a redemption for TO and Solich who mean a lot to him.
  2. I heard Watson as interim but it was "don't be surprised to see Watson as interim coach and get a shot to interview for the head job"
  3. That would fall in line with what I have heard but I didn't get those kind of specifics. It definitely stays on track with everything else. Thanks for the info
  4. You guys are taking things too far.....NU would "like" to keep Watson, and they are very interested in Pelini. I am seeing you guys take this as Pelini is the coach and Watson must stay as OC. That is not what I said.
  5. My football career (or sideline standing) has nothing to do with my source. Booster and I are business partners.
  6. TO also said on Monday that he hasn't spoken to Perlman about the AD job and then we find out today that he was in Cally's office on Friday.....ummm why would that be?? And then Perlman admits that he talked to Osborne on Sunday. Don't believe everything you hear in press conferences. Also, Perlman said they had to start the search for an AD yesterday and they already had talks with TO. Trust me, Cally is already gone....they are merely waiting until the right time. TO hinted towards getting rid of Cally. You gotta listen to it and in political speak he is not supporting Cally. Not once did he say he supports them. IBR, you mentioned on Monday that BC will resign after Texas game is that to give him 2 weeks to see what he can do or is that the expected "blowout" which will give the AD the rationale for firing him? Thanks Warren or tell Warren thanks Scott My source said that Cally knows the situation and is expected to "resign in 2 weeks". That is the only sure quote. I think he will step down after the TX game. Now, I could see him leaving after aTm if we get smoked like last week. The buyout is already in the works and he has to resign for it to take place. Did you hear him taking accountability in his press conference??? It was there more than ever. And TO played the part by saying that HE "will wait to make any major changes". There is not a definite date set to my knowledge but Cally HAS BEEN informed he is leaving. He is willing to resign and do a buyout b/c he want to coach before 2012 and the buyout allows him money from both where getting fired the money offsets with a new salary.
  7. I will in the morning. I got the fax but haven't been home to read through them. I will get the info to Huskerboard in the morning.

  9. It does if his contract dictates what he is supposed to wear. Mine did, and Dick Tomey's definitely did. The question is does he normally wear Adidas gear? It's not about Husker gear or Red for me but I guarantee he has a contract with Adidas.
  10. you should change your sig to "bank on it" by the way thanks for the info so far On the other hand there's a new sheriff in town and his name is TO. Your buddy might want to keep a lid on the information pipeline for a while. Letting out inside info tends to shorten ones career. He is a booster so he is fine. Also, he gives me stuff that will become public eventually anyway. We just get to break the story early. Pretty soon the OWH will start searching this site for the scoop.
  11. K Your source must have had it wrong! Cook bailed out completely because Pederson was fired. This was a BS post. Are you serious????? I clarified this at least 100 times yesterday. My source said "Cook threatened not to give any money" I assumed he meant that was if we didn't make changes. He meant if we made a change. And leaking this info 2.5 hours before ANY media outlet had it I would say my mis-interpretation which I corrected later is OK. SO my source was 100% accurate and this was WAAAAYYYYY before anyone had any idea of what was happening. Can someone explain to me why some people want to hate and over dissect every word??? We have been very lucky to be way in front of the curve on all of this. Read every post please before you criticize me or anyone else.
  12. Exactly, and by not wearing any appearel, his is hinting at his future That is what I think. He is backing PUD and making a statement that he is out. That is my guess. You would think of all days he would be wearing as much Red as possible....but he is an A$$
  13. At UofA it was per our Nike contract that anytime we had a press conference or we were making an appearance on behalf of the team, unless we were at a dinner we needed to wear Nike issued gear, we had thousands of it. We wore Nike polo shirt everyday to work.....everyday! It was in our Nike contract. BC gets paid directly from Adidas to wear it....I can almost guarantee it.
  14. I still trust BC will resign before season end...my source was right on everything so far and I will stick by it. We even heard TO say yesterday that "he hasn't talked to NU yet"....ummm YEAH RIGHT!
  15. He met will BC on Friday. It confirms Perlman saying he knew last week PUD wsa gone.
  16. He said Make changes, doesn't mean they won't be told BYE before then. Also, he keeps repeating in an indirect way that there will be changes at the end of the year BUT he won't keep people dangling.
  17. No problem. It's easy to get these things confused. I was actually going to post in response right away but thought I'd read the entire thread in case someone else beat me to the punch. Turns out 2-3 people did but others were astute as well. So the other confirmable is that Osborne will be "consulted" for help in the matter. No word on whether he's officially named Interim AD, right? Correct. Osborne was formally offered the job and he is willing to consult on some issues but he DOES NOT want to be AD and they are trying a very interim idea. Nothing with formal interim AD but it looks like a possible 2 headed system for now. Osborne is still talking about specifics right now. Cally is officially gone for next year and will not likely be here all the way through unless he doesn't embarrass himself. That is the key. COZ is gone also. wrong on that one I Bleed Red, negative 5 street cred I think my other post has clarified this about 50 times but OK
  18. Yup, b/c Adidas makes him wear it per their contract.
  19. Lincoln Journal Star is already reporting that Osborn will be the AD, wether it is just temporary or full time, will be told at the press conference tonight. Come on i Bleed Red: Don't leave us hanging here. If you got the goods, produce them. We all want to know what is going on. Interim...Remington should be full time later
  20. I hadn't seen the actual release yet. Thank you. It was nice to see some actual quotes in there rather than just waiting. 5:15 will be an interesting time.
  21. I don't see him firing Callahan if he is going to be the interm AD. It wouldn't make sense for him to fire and hire a new coach and then have another person come in as AD later. It wouldn't be fair to the new AD to have TO make the hire and then tell him to live with it. I can see Cosgrove gone and other changes, but if TO is here for 15 to 18 months until a new AD takes over, then it only makes sense to leave Callahan in place so the new AD can make the changes he wants when he takes over. Now it is possible TO and the new AD can work it out after the end of the season and jointly agree on a new coach after the first of the year, but before new recruits sign. And here's one other thing to think about. If you were going to hire someone to come in and start chopping off heads, would you hire TO? If anything he has always been the type to give someone another chance. I'd think TO would be the last person you'd bring in if you need someone to fire people, it's just not his style. I assume you can't be serious. I want the coaches out as much as anyone. But what type of signal would it be to possible new AD that their head coach has already been picked for them. Could we pick a new AD in the next month and he and TO sit down together to pick a new coach, yes that's possible. But to pick a new head coach without first hiring a new full time AD and getting his input doesn't make sense. It puts us right back where Pederson didn't like Solich because Solich wasn't his pick. Well, Remington is the obvious choice for permanent AD and he will be working with TO so he will have a say. Also, plenty of ADs take new jobs where the coaches are already in place.

  23. Not to say I dont believe you cause man I hope this is true, but isnt there a process which to follow in talking to other teams coachs? I mean LSU is in the middle of a season and for Bo to be in Lincoln a day after Pud gets fired is a little far out there to think of.. I guess I just question how this all happened soo quick, and not so much if your making it up. I never said Bo was in Lincoln. I said here is their main focus right now. And the process to talk to a coach is to Call Les Miles or Bo directly and ask them permission. This is college and there are no rules to talking to a coach like the NFL.
  24. I thought of Jim Grobe also as a curious choice.
  25. I don't have any knowledge of this but from what I understand the coaches HAVE been told they are leaving and to expect something within 2 weeks.
