  1. I really believe a lot of you are over reacting about this one. We all envision a red shirt and having this guy for five years. Why burn it in a year where the season is basically lost at this point? Reality is, this kid comes from Oak cliffe Dallas(crime everywhere). The chances he sticks around for 5 years is slim to none. Ever thought of the reality that this kid is a piece of work and coaches want to get as much out of him as possible and get him out as soon as possible? i think this was a great move by coaches
  2. I think TA is the guy but i have a really good feeling we will be hearing a lot of AJ Bush.
  3. If anyone has any Groomsman gift ideas feel free to share!!! Anything at all will help. Thanks a lot Husker fans!
  4. i see them adding another expansion to south end zone where the current research and engineering building is. They will build another building for the current academic department that is there now (I think engineering) and they will expand and do another upgrade. I could see that
  5. They only use one. Pretty sure they still use donor planes. Remember Bo saying last year the recruiting was much easier than in the past since donors were letting them use their private planes to get around instead of having to fly commercial all the time. Pretty sure they still use donor planes. Remember Bo saying last year the recruiting was much easier than in the past since donors were letting them use their private planes to get around instead of having to fly commercial all the time. Good point. From what I heard they stopped using them except one and they now rent but not saying I know jack
  6. The university no longer uses private donors planes (they rent them now) EXCEPT for one...mr kubly who is a Wisconsin grad and a dear friend of Shawn. I think his plane went to columbus for a coach. Total guess
  7. Landscapes unlimited is not doing any golf course projects in ohio this time of year( highly doubt). Kublys plane flew to Columbus and Shawn met with OSU compliance to lawyer up about the NCAA sanctions and get more information. Tressel although working in Youngstown, probably still has a place in Columbus if I had to guess. I looked and landscapes has zero golf projects in Columbus right now. That plane went for a football coach! That plane went to see the SENATOR!
  8. I think they do have one in the athletic department, however, this year I heard they have been workin with Dr.Bob Rotella. Chris brown worked with him in the NFL and Chris asked Rotella to help the team and also his brother drew most recently. If you don't know who Bob Rotella is he is arguable the most sought after sports psychologists in any sport but more specifically with golfers. His clients include Lebron, Rory mccilroy, many musical performers such as goo goo dolls, jay z, many CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, Kobe Bryant, nfl coaches, NBA coaches etc. hopefully the team continues to use him. Can't hurt at this point! Haha
  9. I was driving home from work today listening to 1620 and I think it was one of the peter brothers giving his 2 cents on husker football. I'm pretty sure it was a peter brother but not positive because I just tuned in during th middle of conversation. Anyways he started talking about the tunnel walk and said an idea that I haven't heard before in regards to the tunnel walk. He said that they should bring in an old legend or star to begin the tunnel walk such as tom Osborne Tommie Frazier etc....that person would be on the jumbo tron and would begin saying the husker prayer. After he says the sentence "dear lord the battles we go through life" then the entire stadium continues with him saying the husker prayer. No music or anything just 90k chanting saying the husker prayer and at the very end of the prayer start playing Sirius as they enter the field. This is a different idea but one that if it would be properly executed could be really really really cool
  10. I love how it says "1" at the bottom haha. 1 wood now that's old school. Is that driver offset? It looks like it's super offset....just curious. Speaking of offset I've always thought it was funny when companies were making insanely offset drivers to help the "slice." I'm no club engineer but the 2 centimeters of offset I highly doubt helps with someone who has a club head speed of more than 90 mph along with the fact that if you're using an offset driver I'm guessing it's more likely it's the indian not the arrow. The King cobra circa 97 comes to mind as the most popular offset driver I remember. Maybe it does work considering greg Norman was the poster child and the fact he's probably the best driver of the ball of all time. Tour players equipment is usually a little different than public especially if you are the star player for that company
  11. I still think tiger has some left in the tank. I truly believe he is hurt as he can only make a 3/4 turn when you watch him play. That has to messing with his ball striking
