Well, I expected that. I think you see my point, though. The option can still score points. Navy has also never been the best recruiting school, historically. I just miss the option.

After watching Navy, I have to say that I TRULY miss the option game. I haven't seen the triple option run, well since Nebraska, until tonight. I know that Pitt. isn't a great team...but man, it was nice to see a team with lesser talent (Navy) rule the game clock and ultimately, the game. I'm sorry fellas, but I wish this Navy game wasn't televised. That was the last thing I needed to see. This game was reminiscent of the days of old. I still think the option is capable of kicking some A$$. Sorry, fellas...but I miss that sh%t. I haven't seen that sort of true ground domination, for man, YEARS. I am also rooting for KU to win the north; I figure, so long as KU wins the Big 12 North, the 4-horsemen of the apocalypse are on their way. What's sad, is that I think KU has a VERY REAL chance of the winning the Big 12 North.

what, one loss and we are out?? c'mon people, we had 2 conference losses last year. Next 2 weeks are at home, i think we can win both games, and then a huge showdown in austin. Players know what a win at Texas would mean, and if we can win the next 3 games then we are back in business. And i know alot of you think this is completely unrealistic, but i do not. The next 3 weeks ALL will be much, muuuuuuuch easier games than Mizzou was. Mizzou is pretty good. ...Which leads me to my next point: You need to come back from HappyHuskerland and return to reality. I, truly, didn't think there would be ANY sunshine pumpers today. Go to the Embassy Suites. They always have a huge courtyard fiasco. It's about two blocks from Memorial Stadium. Plus, there is always a sh**ty band playing there... You'll be treated very well there, as opposing fans. They also have GIGANTIC beers on tap. I think they are, honestly, about 40 ounce cups!

First off, this is not a political debate, so affiliations be-damned. I'm starting to feel like I have felt about the Bush Administration, regarding recent unilateral moves, disregarding public-input and behaving pompous (war, etc). I feel so powerless, so helpless to influence "policy" and actions. I assume many have felt similar. I'm seriously getting an eery feeling from Steve Pederson and this whole situation. I actually believe that SP treats us (fans and Nebraska residents) the way that the current presidential administration does. They believe that we are inept. They believe that we are unable to judge or determine where this program should go. That we actually have an educated opinion or valuable insight. Because they, obviously, do not listen to us (Steve's constituents). They believe that they are the true ambassadors of Nebraska Football. Otherwise, I really have no other explanation why I haven't seen some administrative moves today, or why we have Gravitated BELOW Mediocrity. I demand satisfaction.

Sorry, man...Being willing to help out and turning you life upside down on almost no notice to go take over as DC at Nebraska are two very different things.
