Not Gill...honestly. His team really isn't turning around. Right now he is at 3-5. Thats worse than nebraska, against a much weaker schedule. Granted he has NOTHING to work with, but a good coach should be able to beat Syracuse or Ball State. Can you imagine if we played at this level for more than a couple years? No, he might be a good coach, but lets let him prove himself a little before he is tested on us.

Its what pulls Nebraska together You think people give a crap about the beef or corn? No, its all about the 1 nationally recognized thing we do have, football. And we ARE damn good at it, but we are just struggling right now. Its people like you who give our fans a bad name. Common! wow...I got off a little there.

Yeah I agree that we do have allot of talent, just the talent isn't coming together right now. My fear is that even if we get a new coach and pull out a "descent" team next year we will loose allot of the "built in" talent and be left with nothing and that will lead to a really bad season, and that will lead to less good recruits...and the cycle continues. As for coaching, my vote is in for either Bo Pellini or Greg Schiano (Rutgers). As for brining back nostalgic players as coaches its just a horrid idea...horrid. I don't think Osborne will be stupid. His job right now is to attract solid coaches due to his rep.

I'm new here so Hi everyone! I'm just one husker fan looking to the rest of the nation hoping that someone here will give me hope that things will be better in the future. Honestly looking at the news today got me really depressed. Recruits look like they are pulling out, Callahan looks like he's realized he's screwed (there goes any hope we had for the rest of the season), and our fans are starting to act trashy. I don't know who to blame. I don't want to blame the coaches cause I'm sure they are trying (they just suck), and I don't want to blame the players cause they are the ones fighting this battle and for the most part they are talented. But honestly, I don't think any coach (or combination of coaches) are bad enough to make us loose this bad this much. I also don't think any players as "talented" as ours are supposed to be, would suck this bad on the field (what is with the pu&&y pushes? tackle someone damn it!). It has to be a combination of "suckiness". Who is really to blame here guys, and what do we need to do about it?

And they have every right to be pissed. This is nebraska, we actually suck. I never though it would get this bad. I'm so scared of the future...someone give me some hope....do we have ANY?
