Look, if TO isn't going to be a permanent AD then he shouldn't pick a new head coach. Because we will only possibly get ourselves into the same situation. Everyone knows Pederson didn't like Solich from the start so his job as HC was doomed. Since right now TO is only interim AD what if he picks a new coach and then they hire a permanent AD? that spells trouble because the new AD might not like the coach and find anyway possible to get rid of him and get a guy he likes. The chances are great if that were to happen and only find us again in the same situation we just got out of. I know everyone would like TO to be AD for 3-4 years but if just a temp solution then he should definitely leave the search for a new HC to the new AD. But i am all for TO becoming permanent.

I'd probably keep it and then 20 years later when my kids call a coach stupid i can wisely direct them to cally who was the dumbest coach in america. lol.

Everything you just listed also occurred during the Clinton administration, and yet Americans experienced more widespread success during those 8 years than during any other period of American history. Under Bush, Privacy and personal freedoms are at an all time low, and the size of the federal government is at an all time high, not to mention the fact that the government is throwing money around like Pacman Jones at a strip club... tell me again why (some) Republicans still defend this guy? I'm not anti-Frank. I like the guy. He's a Real Husker. He just wasn't the guy we needed as our Head Coach. He had some glory during his tenure, but most of that occurred because of the T.O. players. I think that if Frank had the same amount of time T.O. had he'd have figured it out. But when he was fired our house was not in good shape. Agreed! The last year Bo turned the defense around. That helped enormously. Frank is a true husker and we should be proud of the years he put in as a player and coach. But, he was making some pretty goofy play calling decisions. The year before he hired new assistants he lost 3-4 games on his play calling. One game in paticular I think was texas, although I may be wrong about the team we played, he called either fake field goals or went for it 3 times and didn't get any points on any of those drives. We lost by 6. If he would just do like most successful coaches and kicked the field goals we would have won by 3. There were a few games that his coaching lost the game not the players and that is when I kind of lost faith in him being a HC. I would love to see him as an assistant again. He had Neb in his heart and fire in his belly. Just what the doc calls for NOW. If i remember right didn't TO pull some stuff like that?? Ya know going for two instead of one?? Listen it is unfair to compare Solich to TO because Solich was never gonna get the same kind of time that TO did. Let's face it TO didn't produce anything until at the end of his career and i remember year after year watching florida state and miami beat nebraska time after time. There were plenty of times TO got beat bad. I'm not suggesting TO wasn't a good HC sometimes even good coaches lose badly. But stuck with TO and nebraska was rewarded with 3 national championships.

I'm glad he's a Christian who trusts God to guide him through tough situations, but unfortunately it does little for the practical fact of his nonperformance as our coach. Not anymore. The game has passed him by and plus they would have to throw the ball downfield which he never does. Plus if he tries to force his system on new players they will just fail like it did in college. I've heard that all he knows is WCO so i hope there isn't a team stupid enough to hire him cause he doesn't deserve a football job anymore no matter what spot he is hired in. Same with coz.

LOL you must be joking. No way keller would've gotten us 39 points against kansas. His ass would've been on the turf 8 time at least. Considering this was Ganz's first start and against a top 10 team he didn't do that bad but made mistakes.

Except we were in that game late in the 3rd beginning of 4th quarter. We were out of the game today by the 2nd quarter.

too bad the Kansas basketball team are the biggest chokers in college basketball.

They have won 7 straight and everyone knows since the BCS started if you lost you lose early. Losses to App. State and Oregon don't matter as much now. Ohio State better watch out for Michigan and if the stars align right Michigan could be playing for the national title.

I like TO and he was a good coach but as interim AD the season was still salvagable when he took over he should've fired cally and coz and had the two coordinators take over. Myself i do start questioning TO on not firing cally during midseason. I don't think anybody would've thought less of TO if he did so but come on you can't write off the rest of the season and keep this joker. I mean recruits you can probably write off and shouldn't be a reason to keep cally.

I know TO has said he wouldn't fire but if BC loses really bad to kansas i don't see how he can. He has to pull the trigger and should've since he was named interim AD.

No Ganz hasn't played well except for some series but please keller is an average qb. When a qb can only throw and can't move throwing 14td as well as 10 int's he should've learn to take care of the ball better. too bad our defense isn't playing like they did against texas. plus bc has been calling the plays all game so we were bound to suck from the start.

Teams tend to rally around popular backups all the time...Ganz has not shown me enough to question Keller as the starter...yet. hell having a qb rush for a td alone is more than what keller would've done. hell probably wouldn't have 21 pts either with keller.
