  1. We're currently in 3rd with 18% behind Mississippi with 24% and Virginia Tech with 19% How did Colorado even make that list? I guess maybe if you're wearing Buffalo gear it's alright? I mean for god's sake, there have been more stories, arrests, etc from CU than any other place that I can remember.
  2. We're gonna make them look bloated and slow:
  3. Not only will we not lose, but we will trounce these guys.
  4. Yeah holvy83 I'd rather be able to stop the ball consistently rather than get lucky once or twice a game and get a pick. Anyways, why does everyone always act like Bo is a turnover God? 2007 LSU 3rd with 36 turnovers 2006 LSU 78th with 21 turnovers 2005 LSU 111th with 14 turnovers 2004 Oklahoma 54th with 22 turnovers 2003 Nebraska 2nd with 47 turnovers The year with us and then last year with LSU were very good, but also had some pretty good talent to work with. The other years he was in the bottom half of the country in turnovers, yet still consistently at the top of the country in total defense. Turnovers can spark your team and really change the momentum, but stopping them on any sort of regular basis is far more effective in my opinion.
  5. J. Bullocks, Seppo, Pilkington, Carriker, Fluellen, Herian, Mann, Todd, Shanle, Austin, Brothers, Byford, Dailey, DeLone, Green, McKeon, Patrick, Phillips, Brandenburgh, Christensen, Ganz, Huff, B. Jackson, Nunn, Panico, Sievers, Steinkuhler, Swift, C. Thomas, Congdon, Cryer, Glenn, Hickman, Z. Taylor, Turner, Wilson, Slauson, Culburt, Holt, M. Smith, C. Young, Blue, Titchner, Henery, and Kunalic. What do these guys have in common? They were all rated 3 Stars or less by Rivals and saw action under Billy C. and the boys. Wow some serious stat grinding there to find all that? Anyways, in my opinion you put whoever on the field that will give you the better chance at winning, if that means someone who knows the system but is slightly less talented then so be it. As far as getting taken out for penalties I think that is a little excessive unless it becomes a consistent problem, not just 1 or 2 here and there.
  6. Cy bust out some more Lil Red ones they are awesome. LOL
  7. Our first quarter points against rated teams last year: USC 7 Missouri 3 Texas 0 Kansas 14
  8. Not to mention the money and tv exposure
  9. Getting ahead of ourselves much? Anyways, I'm still sticking with my 7 - 5 prediction for the season with losses to Oklahoma and CU. But yeah if we can give that kind of effort each and every game, which I really doubt, we could very reasonably go 5 - 1 for the rest of the season.
  10. Where's Captain Obvious when you need him........... LOL, just trying to say that even though it was a hell of a game we didn't get the W, and when it comes right down to it your W vs L aka your record is all that really matters. It was a hell of a game, and we put a lot of adversity upon ourselves and still somehow managed to hang tight. I'm proud of the guys and the staff, but it's a tough loss to take.. By the way MOD Champ, thanks for the props... Yup, was really a hell of a game, just the best way to describe it. Hopefully this will be fuel for the rest of the season. Yeah your post was just so great it needed to be siggied

  12. I won't argue it was a hell of a game, but still goes down as a Loss.
  13. Oklahoma so they are rated #1 when we beat them.
  14. Nebraska - 31 Texas Tech - 45 Passing Yards - 287 Rushing Yards - 176
  15. I agree with most of what you said in there, good post. Anyways, as for people saying our offense didn't change so they thought it would be solid. Did you not watch the first half of the season last year? It's that same offense that put up 0 in so many quarters I don't even want to think about it. I don't know what's up with Ganz but he seems hesitant to run the ball and seems very uncomfortable, I say just turn him loose and let him do w/e he wants on the field.
  16. Fox Sports Net as per huskers.com Sat, Oct 11 Texas Tech * - at Lubbock, Texas 2 p.m. FSN
  17. Yeah 7-6 and 8-5 are both very reasonable predictions in my opinion. Also if we can go 7-6 I'll be satisfied and 8-5 or better and I'll be happy. lol
  18. Ouch I would so rather loose to KU than to sCUm at home. I don't know about anyone else, but I am scared to play KSU this year. Not sure why, but I just am. Yeah I'd rather lose to KU than CU as well but this is just how I see things, though I also thought Mizzou game would be 52 - 38 Not too much we've beaten them the last 2 years and I don't see this being too different.
  19. Western Michigan 47 - 24 (W) San Jose State 35 - 12 (W) New Mexico State 38 - 7 (W) Virginia Tech 30 - 35 (L) Missouri 17 - 52 (L) ---------Predictions-------- Texas Tech 31 - 45 (L) Iowa State 28 - 17 (W) Baylor 42 - 24 (W) Oklahoma 27 - 38 (L) Kansas 38 - 35 (W) Kansas State 34 - 24 (W) Colorado 32 - 38 (L) Independence Bowl (L) 7 - 6 and I'm totally fine with that as a result.
  20. Lol yeah I should have looked at more of it. Mizzou in the Fiesta Bowl ROFL ROFL Sorry tigers but Oklahoma gonna beat you in the title game again. Also I'll put money on someone else coming up out of the ACC other than Va Tech.
  21. Heck I'd take that. Big 12 7th team, sounds about right, behind these guys: Oklahoma Mizzou Texas Tech Kansas Ok St Texas
  22. Reminds me of bush saying he doesn't have the magic wand to fix things either Hmm speaking of Bo with a magic wand, someone wanna photoshop a pic of Bo with a nice frilly pink magic wand fixing everything? Maybe it'll work and we can win next week at TT. Anyways, sucks to drop so far after losing to a 4th rated team. And now Va Tech is 18th or so? LOL
  23. Maybe it's just me but he doesn't seem to be the same guy from last year. How many times has he carried it up the field so far this year? To me, and I'm by no means an expert, he seems to be hesitant to run the ball and he seems to be trying to hard. I think if he would sit back and relax it'd be alright. Like everyone else has said though, having any sort of running game would really help things along in the passing game.
  24. Stopped reading after that. Anyways if this is actually true then I hope that Suh sits the bench for the next game as this is really outrageous behavior.
