  1. Busy day for Tennessee... Picked up two commits that were looking at NU. Ortha Peters committed and also Greg McMullen's teamate, LaTroy Lewis.
  2. Will visit again at the end of the month. Recently said that all the schools have been recruiting him as a WR...(he might still recruited as an athlete here, but I'm assuming he will not be a QB in the end).
  3. Will visit this month...just not the weekend as previously planned (according to HI).
  4. New Peat quote after his visits to Michigan and ND via ESPN via BlueandGold.com, "I'm 100 percent sure that Notre Dame will be in it until the end," Peat told Jason Sapp of BlueandGold.com. "The only other school I can say that about right now is Nebraska,"
  5. Jarvis Giles is transferring to Louisville. Jarvis Giles is transferring from Louisville. It is unknown where he will land. Looks like he didn't like the competition again...never made it past spring practice.
  6. Will be looking into other options and not be enrolling at NU due to academic hurdles.
  7. Being recruited as an athlete. Could play QB, WR, or DB. I like the idea of signing him and finding a place for him later...especially in a small class. Could be a good #2 QB in the class who can move if the other one pans out.
  8. He recently said that he knew for a few weeks... ""I've known since Memorial Day," Boehm said. "I kept it a secret. I told my immediate family then, and then my aunt and uncle, and my best friend, on Sunday. Those were the only people I told.""
  9. He did not. He needs to send in more film and dominate his senior season. I think it has to do with limited scholarships. In another year, he would already have one, but things are going to be really tight this year. Fingers crossed for this young man. I would love for him to be a Husker. Don't buy this one bit. He can dominate Class C in his sleep. He is falling victem to the numbers game at this point right now and that is pretty moronic IMO. This is a kid that could contribute on either side of the line. He IS head and shoulders above the rest of the prospects in Nebraska. This we'll wait and see game could come back and bite NU in the ass if a place like Iowa or KState start showing him crazy love. I agree that he really wants to be Husker but sometimes this is a fine line to walk. "The things that coach Pelini and coach Cotton stressed was 'just dominate this season.'"...a direct quote from Shoff.

  11. i think that's why he's being made to wait until camp, so they can see what he looks like against good talent. Mike will be in this class. It isn't so much about how he looks against "good" competition, but more about how he has recovered from knee reconstruction. He will stack up just fine against others. He did so as a sophomore when he caught the coaches eyes at camp. The kid is very quick and agile on his feet. Watch the kid wrestle at state next year if you don't believe that. Shoff has the strength and speed(the kid runs the 100 and 200 in track as a 270 pounder for cripes sake) the staff wants. You are spot on in your analysis. Schoff is the only one that I think we will nab from Nebraska. Question is: will Shoff be an OL or a DT? Right now I think we could use him on OL more than at DT. I think they told him the plan was for him to start off on the OL.
  12. For the record, I liked Jake a little more because of his size. Mr. Fuller seems like a Jamal Turner type of guy (you can't say that is a really bad thing, ha), but Jake would bring something a little different to the mix that we don't currently have. The point is moot now, though.
  13. Well, committed to Oregon. That ended that debate.
  14. Word is that he is just waiting for a LSU offer before he pulls the trigger and commits to them. We'll see if he gets it.
  15. very intersting........for a number of reasons Haha...I'll bite. Care to share?
  16. Well he really I really don't think he is a pro style. He is a pass first kind of guy, but he can run too. He passed for over 2,000 yards and ran for 1,300. 21 touchdowns while running and 21 more touchdowns passing.
  17. He is the QB recruit I am most excited about.
  18. We must not have offered that scholarship.
  19. Final Five: Notre Dame, Florida, Stanford, Alabama, and the University of Southern California. Will announce this Friday.
  20. This year...will be a 3 for 3 guy. Doesn't have an offer yet. Will find out this week. Also looking at Miami and Arkansas.
  21. Loved his visit. Will decide between NEB and Oklahoma. Will visit OU next week.
