  1. Not necessarily because they had to interview Bo in Baton Rouge since he's busy preparing for the SEC championship game. So it makes sense to stop off in Baton Rouge to interview Bo before flying on to Atlanta to conduct the remaining interviews. I don't think we should read TO's preference from the timeline.
  2. That's a good question about why the seniors would be invited, but I don't think they call an official meeting to turn in their uniforms. But I agree that we can't just assume that it's to announce the new coach.
  3. The reports that I've read is that Osborne and Perlman interviewed Bo in Baton Rouge, then flew to Atlanta for the other interview(s). Otherwise they would have simply met Bo in Atlanta instead of picking him up like a carpool. I'm guessing the reason for that is to not take Bo away from his SEC championship preparations. So, Pellini boarded the plane for an interview, and then debarked before it left for Atlanta? Sorry, but the story wasn't clear on that. That's my understanding at least.

  5. ........ do you know what sherman did at green bay? do you know his records? he had one BAD year.. check it, ONE.. ONE losing season of 4-12.. and with the team that he had, minus favre n driver, it's not hard to see why... 2000 - 9-7 2001 - 12-4 2002 - 12-4 2003 - 10-6 2004 - 10-6 2005 - 4-12 but yes.. he was absolutely pathetic.. absolutely Callahan only had ONE losing season of 4-12 in the NFL as well. Perhaps A&M should've hired him!
  6. Wow! I bet Les Miles takes a look at this poll and decides to come to NU instead. Any poll that has Baylor being a better job than Arkansas is about as useful as pads at a Callahan-coached practice.
  7. What's the source on the Winston-Salem flight? Also, it's been widely reported that the search firm we are using is based in Atlanta, so I imagine that's why they flew there. Mostly to thwart all the "I have a friend that works at Duncan Aviation in Lincoln" posts that would have come otherwise. Found it - http://nebraska.statepaper.com/vnews/displ...5/4749cd307e9d9
  8. If you look closely, you can almost see Pelini signing a contract in one of the windows.
  9. Using the term "honorable" rather loosely, aren't we?
  10. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3127846 Well it looks like it is official. So if TO chooses to go with Pelini, it appears that he won't have to bid against A&M for him. It also appears that Tuberville is still available, but I don't know if there is mutual interest between him and Nebraska.
  11. So what are you quoting here? I mean, did this come from some AP report or did your grandmother say this in her sleep last night? If you're going to quote something, let us know the source or provide a link if possible. Thanks.
  12. Don't care. He has some of the best talent as well to work with. He should have done better. His defense should have done better, been perfect. Cause that's what expected at Nebraska. LSU probably has one of the most talented defenses in the nation. They probably have two D-linemen who will go in the first round and about ten guys who will play in the NFL at some point from what I've read. Bo should have been able to get more production out of them this year. I'm not saying that I'm opposed to Bo as the next NU coach, but I do have my concerns.
  13. Unless he's bringing Favre and Ahman Green with him, I'm not losing any sleep over it.
  14. My only thought would be that the search firm is in Atlanta. Yeah, I guess it makes sense to conduct the interviews at the firm's office since you don't want TO running around the country or to have the candidates flying into Lincoln with all of the local craziness. It's better to have the candidates all come to Atlanta. Boy, it's good to see that TO is not making the same mistake Pedey made in this regard.
  15. So why do you think they went to Atlanta? I don't know if there's an obvious answer to this, but my only thought is that they wanted a neutral location to avoid the distractions of local media and fans. Any thoughts on this?
  16. Did anyone confiscate his cell phone? I'm guessing there's a pretty good chance there's a call to Cozgrove on there in the last couple of weeks.
  17. Geez, I feel bad for your other sons!
  18. There is already a thread on this topic.....
  19. Yeah, Arkansas really busted a Nutt.
  20. ...said the man on an Internet message board.
  21. I guess this puts the final nail in the coffin of the whole "Mike Stoops the next Nebraska DC" notion. He's not going anywhere.
  22. Well we should probably give Callahan some credit for developing Ganz.
