If you don't think emotion wins football games then you have never seen a true rivallry game then. Whenever a rival comes to town, one should throw out the records because it is going to be a dog fight. Just look at the last couple of Colorado and Nebraska games, Colorado always seems to play use tough no matter what the records are. Emotions are a huge part of college football. That may be a reason why OU beats NU or it may be a reason why NU beats OU.

That is horrible......she is a good looking girl and she needs the home state support. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Its not like you have a chance with any of them anyways.

It probally doesn't hurt us that much except in short yardage or goalline. I think that Tood or maybe Keiser could be used in his place. I don't know the percentage for sure but I believe that we use two tight ends more than we use the fullback in our offense.

I think that we need to get Jackson on the field somehow. Possible punt return but i don't know if he has the moves or not. But he needs to be involved somehow.

I am not too worried about Ross. I think we should try to keep him as fresh as possible. He has been doing a good job and seems to know what is going on in WCO. He needs to stay fresh so that he can get 20+ carries a game.

I don't remember who was kicking off but we had two touchbacks against Southern Miss. I don't really think that we need a touchback every time. I think that we should plan a couple of kicks to land at the five or ten yard line so that we might catch them off guard and pin them inside the twenty a couple of times.

We may not finish the year number one in rush defense, but we need to be strong in that area. Teams are definitly going to try to run the ball on us because are safeties are great at reading the quarterback in two deep coverage. All we have to do is play our positions on defense and not get out of position like we did against Colorado back in 2001. A great defense doesn't have to be full of All-americans, we just need to play our positions and make teams one dimensional.

I would say that J.P. Phillips was the biggest bust. He didn't even suit up one game and he was suppose to be one of our biggest recruits in years. He had a few injuries right out of high school and then he got caught with drugs and Solich kicked him off the team a week before the first game of the year. He was suppose to make an impact on Special Teams that year while seeing the filed sparingly. He would of been great if not for the drugs. Poor Guy.

Who would be in your top five for recruits? Not just players. I would probally put Frazier, Wistrom, Shields, DeAngelo Evans, and Newcombe. They were all highly touted coming out of high school and we thought that they would all lead Nebraska to the promise land. Frazier and Wistrom lived up to their billing and Shields was great. But Evans and Newcombe were both disappointments though Newcombe lived through his and helped us win a Big 12 Championship.

Who do you guys think has been are best recruit in the last 20 years or so? I would put Will Shields up in my top five but not for sure who else would be up there. Maybe Wistrom.

WE are going to have to have both the passing and running working well for just about anybody that we play in the Big 12 besides maybe Baylor. It will be interesting to see how they do.

I don't know if Herian is number one quite yet. He needs to make a few more big plays. I think that Heath Millar from Virginia is the best. He will prove that in ACC play that he can make the plays and hopefully lead the Cavaliers to a few upsets against Florida State and Miami.

He doesn't have to win the heisman, he just needs to lead this team so that we can at least be competitive against Ou, Tech, and K-State.

I think that our line is doing a great job this year only giving up one sack and has Ross in the top 20 in rushing and the team in the top 15 in the nation. We are developing some depth with delone and Austin getting some reps in the second and third quarters too. I hope that they can continue to get better cuz the defenses that we face sure will.

I thought we played pretty well in the first half but a couple of dropped passes in the first halp kept us from blowing the game wide open. When we have a team back on its heels we need to put them away. There is no way they should of had a chance to win or tie this game.

Lets get frank out of there and it looks great.

The back from Okie State is going to lead the big 12. They run the about 80% and he is has over 1000 yards over the past 6 games. He is a stud and with Woods at reciever, teams can't stack the line to stop him. He is a PTPer.

We gave Southern Miss that game. But at least it is a problem that we can fix. We need to fix this by Big 12 season.

Our Defense did a number on them but we need to improve off of this. They obviously did.

Dailey must get better, but at the same time, Bill must do everything in his absolute ability to make sure that Dailey feels comfortable in this offense. He needs to keep Joe in managable situations and keep the plays and the terminology so that Dailey can handle it all. I hope that they can communicate with each other so that they have a feel for each other during the games.

Turnovers and Penalties are a result of disipline. My guess is that during the games is not the first time that these things are taking place. If the coach is seeing these things in practice, he must do something about it. This is as much Bill's fault as it is the players. Bill must take charge.

What a great article, but one thing still confuses me. Is a short pass the same as a run or not. Just Kidding. We need to give this offense some time.

I hope that all of these injuries can be heeled up by this weekend so that we are healthy for the Big 12 run. I think the biggest concern right now is the secondary. We will need them healthy to cover all of the recievers that Kansas and Tech are going throw at us.

I would give the game balls to Wali, Grixby, and Huston for stepping in for injured players and doing one heck of a job.
