I think people are just frustrated that it wasn't a big "Wow!" hire. Its a solid staff but inexperienced. This staff isn't built for the short run. That was the mistake Bo made when he was hired. I agree, some people will never be happy until they get EXACTLY what they want. Don't forget the ever popular "We are Nebraska! We have the right to know!"

I disagree. I wasn't doing cartwheels over filling-up on sleepers but all the guys hired were ones Bo/Carl knew and felt comfortable with. I wouldn't say we were left picking-up scraps because we waited. I'd say we just didn't really look especially hard. Few names were thrown around seriously and it's questionable whether offered Frost more than just position-coach responsibilities or offered Warinner or the Houston guy at all. I think Bo wanted his guys and he has them now. Let's see what happens. Exactly. i think Bo got his 2nd tier guys....let's hope they are quick studies..... Exactly. Bo got what was left at the time-which was way late, and not much was left on the table. And you know this how? Do you sit by him in church? Maybe you jog with him? Talk at the meat counter at the local IGA? Unless you visit with him on a daily basis you have no idea what or who this search involved. You have no idea when the coaches were told they were being let go and these hires quite possibly could have been the ones Bo wanted from day one.

Husker fans have been driving me nuts for the past 3 weeks nothing but a bunch of complainers makes me embarrassed to be a Husker fan. Kevin Wilson ruins Bo's plain on waiting to announce the resignation of Marvin Sanders and everybody wants to job on Bo for not spilling the beans and giving us more info. Then Yahoo Sports writes an article about giving coaches credit for not announcing a new coach until they've signed and that every coach should do that and now everybody is like "This guy is right I'm glad Bo does it this way." And now we have people complaining about these new coaching hires when we haven't seen anything from these new coaches in a game environment at Nebraska with new coaches surrounding them. Ignorant people already making threads like "How long will this new regime last?" WTF people!!! You can't judge a product until you've actually witness how it produces. We haven't even seen results and we have people already doubting these new coaches. When will Husker fans start supporting Bo and stop all of the hate, complaining, bitching etc? Bo so far as put a good product on the field (9+ wins in 3 seasons, back to back 10 win seasons) and brought Nebraska back into the National spotlight. Sure there were several games we should've won but Bo's making those changes on offense like we've wanted since after the 09' season but yet people are still complaining. Bo has been in this Buisness since 96', I think he knows what the hell he's doing. He's been productive at every stint he's been at, the 9ners, Patriots, Green Bay, Nebraska (03), OU, LSU and now back here. He knows how to develope and coach players, he's been around the block and knows a lot of good coaches, he's got ton of connections. I'll wait till the 2011 season to make my prediction of this new coaching staff but then again we are entering 2011 with a very tough and difficult schedule. I just might wait till after the 2012 season to make my final thoughts of these new coaches. Well said sir. We are to the stage of our marriage with Bo Pelini where we realize our partner isn't perfect in everyway. Bo has done everything we wanted him to when BC was leaving the building. I don't fault Bo for offensive failings for the past 3 years b/c he is making a change. No they aren't 5 star coaches but since when in the hell does that matter to Nebraska. We have always prided ourselves on our Walk-on program and how we take the right fit 3 star player and coach him to play like a 5 star. But, it is somehow a huge deal that Bo is doing that with his staff? I commend Bo for taking No name guys in and I'll bet within 5 years other teams are trying to steal them away. Pull up your skirt and support your team. It’s not just the fans. A BIG part of the problem is our own local Nebraska media at the OWH, LJS and others. When Kevin Wilson dicked us over by announcing Corey Raymond to NU our own local reporters were on Pelini like white on rice. Our local media guys didn’t let the facts get in their way. They just hoisted Bo up on the media cross and started hammering in the nails. A bunch of asshats they are. Or at least most of them. Too bad they don’t focus on supporting the Huskers——instead of tearing NU down at every opportunity just to sell more fishwrappers. I agree 100% with these statements!...................... Now cue the "but if Bo was more like Tom" club

It showed up as an attachment, but when I clicked "Add Reply," it wasn't there. Tried editing it and it didn't show either. Charles Jackson did not know that Sanders was gone until after he signed his LOI. It's like a "we've always been at war with Oceania" scene in here. So your calling his Dad a liar? How can I be wrong if those are the exact words that came out of his mouth in his interview he did on the radio? Your going by what the media says, that is the exact reason he did the interview, so everybody would know that the media was wrong in the way they worded things. Dunno. I just thought it did a good job of explaining Bo's obvious strengths and mentioning where he could improve. I'd add that I wish Bo could master the TO method of talking for 30 minutes at a press conference without saying anything. Osborne was an absolute master at this. I wish the "I wish Bo was Tom" talk would stop. Bo is always gonna be Bo. Either learn to like it or learn to like another team for now.

Yea, you missed something. Attacking the man's job performance is rite of fandome, purposefully researching the man's address is stalking. Looking up someones address will not hold up in a court of law as "stalking" There are a few more things that have to go along with that. So I still don't see anything I missed.

Over the weekend we watched Devil and The Rite. Devil was a good movie, The Rite was really nothing special. Most movies I like I watch several times, I would not waste time watching The Rite again.

I don't own a boat, I don't even like boating that much so I'm not claiming to know anything about it, but on an episode of "The Deadlist Catch" they talked about how they have to recalibrate their instruments pretty much every year to adjust for these magnetic shifts.

I don't think it's bogus, but like I said it is dangerous. It was 2 years ago when I did it to one of ours and it is still working today. I agree that I would talk with them before I did anything. I finally took the time to research a lot of the common problems and have figured out that it is just a lot easier to fix them myself so I don't send them in. We now have 2 of the new slim's in the house so I only have 2 more old ones to replace and hopefully I won't have to deal with as many issues. As far as trading it for a PS3, I love some of the games for our PS3 but I myself can't stand playing online with it.

You got the dizzturbedNUfan part right. T_O_B lol, I get that a lot. Maybe I came across to harsh. All I'm saying is that Tom (for sure) and Bo (at least it seems)are both pretty loyal guy's, and I hope in this case it doesn't come back to bite them. I love Tom just as much as everybody else, when he came back as A.D. I finally felt that things were going to be ok. I hope not, but I cannot say for certain that Tom's opinions haven't been heard in the offensive discussion and I hope they don't put being loyal over the good of the program.

You basically just made fun of God to most these people so I wouldn't expect a lot of support. I on the other hand think you have one good point. There is not one person that post on here that can tell you for FACT that go ole" Tommy Boy isn't letting Bo know his opinion on wether or not Watson should be kept or fired. So if your boss that hired you tells you to do something you don't beleive may be the right choice, what do you do? Quit? Be Spineless? or risk everything and go against him? (be careful, some of you have already admitted you would lick the corns of his feet)

They can't do that anymore or else Harvey will come out and say they are crazy and out of control. Remember, you are not aloud to be yourself and show emotion at NU, it's against the rules.
