OK, maybe not in the regular season, but how about a spring game? Could be fun!

I took a dump next to Zac Lee at Misty's (downtown location) one night. After we pinched off our loaves, we were both washing hands and I asked him to demonstrate his quarterback stance behind center on me, and he just said "You perv" and walked out. Pissed me off.

The question of "whether NU should bolt to the Big 1O" if and when the opportunity arises was mentioned on another board. I don't subscribe to that board. To me, it would be a death knell for the program. NU has a HUGE following throughout Big 12 country, including Texas where I live. Lots of Texas recruits go to NU because NU has so much visibility here. A lot of kids go to NU because, while it's a bit farther north, it's still in the Big 12 and mom and dad can make some games. A good part of that would DIE if NU joined the Rust Belt conference. It would FOREVER change the complexion and perception of Nebraska from a midwest/south-type program to a north/ice cold/isolated program. I hope such an idea is never floated. Everything to lose, little if anything to gain.

It's possible that Suh's performance in the Gator may catapult him to the 1st round of the NFL draft. So...just playing the "what if" game for a minute... Would you have traded a crappy NU (and Suh) performance and resulting Gator Bowl loss in exchange for having Suh back for all of 2009?

my roommate takes care of Bo's aquarium, and he said that word is Suh's going to the draft. Darn it, if he just hadn't have had such a good game against Clempson.

What's funny is the lack of respect Spano gets in all of this. Spano is one stud QB. I live in Texas and follow Stephenville and I can tell you this kid is fast and has a gun. I think just because he's a redshirt and he's white, everyone assumes he's 4th down the list. If you watched Stephenville High School football much, you'd know that Spano is one tough nut. Don't count him out.

they've gotten moved because they are unrelated to the Husker Football topic, or, are better related to other boards we have here. The mod's know how to do their job, don't drill them for that. This was an article in the Journal Star, and it's STILL getting roasted. Don't act like you did and it's not. A lot of people don't care to waste their time posting things twice. If you seriously think this is unlike any forum you've ever seen in a bad way, you haven't been on sports forums for very long, or at all. Because the connotation of you're post is insinuating that this is a bad board. If you feel that way, go find a better one, have fun trying. The pay issue is an opinion, and opinion that many people feel you need to earn you're pay. You don't walk into any other job and start making the same amount of money someone with proven success in that job makes and it should be expected to be the same in football. Rhoades @ ISU is making more than Bo, and i agree that he shouldn't be, but maybe that's what they had to do to get him, but on the flip side, coming into this year Bo didn't deserve to make as much as Hawkins is making, and he's making the same amount. With continued success Bo will get the money he deserves and I'm sure he understands that. Well esssssssssckewwwwwwwws me!!!!

Ya, you can use and example without having to be condescending. Basically, what your posts said to me was "I make $200,000 a year, but you don't know what that's like, so let me use an example you poor people can understand." My smart a** response was only in response to other smart a** responses to the original question. And it was only a question, not a statement. Last I checked this is a FORUM.

OK here's one you guys might relate to a little better. You're a plumber for a plumbing co., and they pay you $20 per hour to go out and unplug toilets, and you can unplug with the best of 'em. But Johnny Turdtoter is paying his guys $40 per hour, and a few of them aren't quite as good at unplugging. But shouldn't a guy be happy making $20 an hour? Isn't that enough to unplug a toilet? You pissed?

you guys dont' get the point. I make about $200K salary myself in my work. That might seem like stupid money, but it's the market for my certain job. If I was making $100K less than the market and performing well, then yes, I would be pissed.

I read the Osborne take on Bo's salary, saying he can earn over $2 million a year, etc. in total $$ comp. I'm good with that as long as we are competitive with the Big 12 elite in total $$ comp. If we are at the bottom of the pile, it seems like that would tend to wear on Bo after a while. And what happens when Notre Dame comes calling Pelini when Weiss gets canned with a $5 million a year offer? Then Nebraska antes up another million or two, but Bo says "screw you...you should have treated me right in the first place." Seems short sighted. Pay dude the market. Then again, maybe he is paid market - it's hard to know for sure. His base is definitely down there at the bottom. Thoughts?
