  1. Madsen's Bowling & Billiards!?!?!? Gateway Bowl?!?!?!? Hollywood Bowl?!?!?!? Parkway Lanes !?!?!?!? Sun Valley Lanes !?!??!
  2. Thanks for putting words in my mouth. Anyways, please explain to me, a) why you throw the ball when you're trying to run out the clock, B) when your ground game is picking up steam, you start throwing the ball, c) when you're losing the game, but essentially running the same plays, you do not adjust the game plan? Riddle me those batman...
  3. Well, first things friggin last... At what point sir, have I said, that I wasn't a fan? Of our beloved football team, yes, Callahan, no. He only lasted two years in Oakland. I want our team to win. If it has to be with Callahan, and the WCO, so be it. I'm just extremely skeptical, that he can accomplish that, due to his inabilities.
  4. Well, his last performance, driving my beloved Raiders into the ground is more proof, that his ass cannot coach. I know i'm going to suffer the next few years due to SP's inability to pick a decent replacement, for Solich. SP was hoping to get a big name in here due to the fact that he was hoping he could get kids to commit on our coach's "name recognition". It baffled me, why we hired a guy, who had just been fired for leading a team to a 4-12 season. Granted, the year before he'd gone to the superbowl, but there are two reasons for that. One, because the dinosaurs on the team had career years, second because he still had the leftovers from the earlier "Chucky" regime. His inability to adjust under fire is his major malfunction. When the proverbial "shite" is hitting the fan, he changes nothing. I'm not a D-I football coach, but even I can tell when you need to adjust your gameplan to "improvise, adapt, and overcome", and I know at least a half dozen folks on here, capable of the same thing. I know there's nobody out there that's worth two sh*ts anyways, if we're looking for a coach. I would have been happy with Bo. Our defence at least looked like they were trying harder, even if the statistics don't back me up. Watching our team now, it looks like they really don't give a damn. At least for the bowl game last year, they looked like they had some fire in them...
  5. Well, there's a difference. College kids are still young, and prone to moments of stupidity. This is a grown man, in charge of a football program. What's his excuse?
  6. Well, who can kick who's a$$ doesn't really matter at this point, because our football team sucks...
  7. I'm a fan of someone who doesn't deep six my football team. I'm a fan of someone who can uphold the tradition of Husker football. I'm a fan of a coach who doesn't make me embarrased to be a Big Red fan.
  8. If we're only playing .500 ball come next year, and if we get handled by OU like we did this year, do you really think that Callahan will still be coaching here? How much rope are they really giving this retard, is what I want to know...
  9. And you'll damn sure to be able to hear me all the way from Jersey...
  10. Osborne was winning 9 games a year with that offense. Callahan's brilliant scheme might win us 6 games a year. See the difference? And isn't that what it's about to the "real" Husker fans?
  11. knock this sh*t off, or i'll eat both your children's...
  12. So, the fans with the wait and see attitude are willing to, "man their ankles, and prepare to be boarded". You make the fans who are willing to wait and see seem like mindless automatons. I'm giving him one more year. That's friggin it. I can't take anymore. Watching Big Red football with Bill Callahan at the helm, is like passing a stone. VERY PAINFUL. He just can't coach, bottom line, end of friggin list. What has he done this year, anybody???
  13. This is what cracks me up. People say things to me like the afore mentioned quote, makes me wonder this... Are those of you who are willing to take the "wait and see" approach with Bill Callahan, going to sing the same tune, if he buries our beloved football team? I'm inclined to believe that every one with an optimistic attitude, hope he does well, so they can tell folks like myself, "I told you so". See, the whole thing is, our team does suck right now. When was the last time we were 5-5 at this point in the season? What was the last year where we were only playing .500 ball, at this point of the season. I'm willing to bet the farm that almost none of us were. Until the "train wreck" of 2002, yes, we were all spoiled. But, is it wrong to expect a certain excellence from your football team? Or, is it ok to be complacent, and hope that things will get better, when at this point, we're going to hell in a handbasket, with gasoline pants on, and Callahan's driving the bus...
  14. I know Callahan's only been here a year, but he seriously needs to get his ducks in a row, or he's going to coach himself right out of a job. If he's losing kids now, no matter what the criteria, what does this say to the rest of the team? He can't coach, and he's a cancer to our team. Little by little, our team is wasting away until there's nothing left.
  15. I wonder if this is the beginning of an "exodus"???
  16. unless he walks on water, turns fishes into loaves, and water into wine...
  17. I hated Solich too, but at least he didn't change the damn offense...
  18. Welcome to the Callahan era of Husker football kids...
  19. I have a lot of optimism. Only our coach bites, our D-coordinator bites, the WCO bites, and our AD bites.
  20. We didn't lose yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. See, every one talks about Brown and Rice on that Raider team, but they all forget about Jerry Porter. He didn't have as many catches or yards, but he did lead the team in TD's and was possibly the most explosive receiver on the team.
  22. How's this for irony... I'm playing NCAA 2004 last year. Of course i'm at the helm of the big red... I win 6 national titles in 10 years, and the Big XII title 9 out of 10 years, and then, they fired me...
  23. I hope the door doesn't hit him in the ass on the way out...
  24. If we were an option team, with the monstrous O' line, then Mr. Ross could be a heisman candidate...
