Its pretty much true, but hardly breaking news, Helu won't be healthy again until the season is over and his shoulders get 2 months rest.

Since he didn't feel the need to come clean, I'm doing it for him. This hear-say stuff is just wrong. Especially when it's at the expense of somebody who is innocent. ok I guess we shall see then....like I said no proof......Lee didn't seems cocky to me anyways A COCKY FOOTBALL PLAYER, OMG SIMPLY UNHEARD OF. Lee is cocky, he is also a good guy from EVERYTHING I hear, you can be both. You obviously have an agenda which is too bad you chose to bad mouth these kids. once again no proof just telling you guys What I heard from my brother, I personally hope it isn't true I think Green is the future but I would hate to have Lee go down like that Green is the future, from everytyhing I know, Lee will exhaust his eligibility at Nebraska back up or not. He loves the big red. At this point he could only transfer down if he wanted to play football since he is going into his 5th year.

This is the biggest BS I have ever heard, I don't post often, but I have been a member for a while. With everything I know, this didn't happen. Doesn't mean the people I asked aren't covering it up, or just didn't see it even though they were in that same locker room, but from what I know, this didn't happen. If fact I heard the exact opposite of Lee, he has been very supportive of Cody in all of this as Cody was too him and that as usual he is doing good in practice. He is a fine young man, is kind of cocky although lacking field confidence, but he is good with helping the underclassman. Zac in so many ways is a good teammate, but he just isn't the best to start right now, he lacks confidence when he faces a real defense, but his arm is much more refined at this point in time, but he just can't use it without that confidence. Zac could start again barring disaster, but if he doesn't, it is not because he opened his mouth. I could be wrong I am only 95% sure that it didn't happen leaving room for misinformation, but please no reason to taint these kids image.

I beleive that our team will be somewhat tainted, the last staff really didnt do s#!t, and i think it will not let them reach full potential. The attitude of these players better change quickly and for the best. I wanna see a fast, hard-hitting, physical playing linebacker core like va tech had this past season. I wanna see secondary that put themselves in postion and risk life and limb for the pick or knockdown, i wanna see an interior d line that can actually penetrate once in a while, I hope we use both steinkuhler brothers on the d line plus suh and I dont know who i want for the other d end yet. On offense we just need Ganz to improve his int ratio( and yes ganz is the starter), and a receiving corps that steps it up even after all it has lost

Ya, I would like to brag for a second and call me the opposite of a BANWAGON FAN. My father was from Elkorn so husker football was forced into our veins since birth. But, if the huskers lost my life went on, in the 90's I was pretty young and remeber all the wins and cheered but 93 only made me mad because my dad and brothers were mad, 94,95 came around and those were great years, then 97, still a fan but didnt care too much. Then in 2001 my borther got to go to his first husker bowl game, at that point he had been attending doane college, and my family was from ohio so there was a big deal with him going out there. The only reason i cared about a win thatday is so my oldest brother could have fun cause that day was also his 21st birthday. Thats the first time a husker lost effected my life. Then one day in 2002 I decided to watch NU@PSU, after the game I was angry with the loss and started to become attached, I watched every game i could since especially the next year PSU@NU, I was pumped i want to see us embarrase them. I think those are the years I became a great fan. Fast foward four years, My dad calls me and asked me what I am doing new years day in early december, I chuckled and commented "I have no clue, why?" he says How about going to dallas with him and my borthers for the cotton bowl against Auburn. I went and that day was the day that Nebraska Red was permantly placed inside my veins. This season tested that fact and I never failed to miss again whether watching or listening, I was even effected enough to not want to party that night during lossing weeks, I would be in my dorm at UofAKRON just sitting there not wanting to do jack squat because the huskers lost and i know if i went out in my beautiful red attire someone would say somehting and I would get in a fight. I HATE THESE BANDWAGON FANS OF OUR TEAM AND ALL TEAMS, THIS KID WHO LIVES NEXT TO ME IS A WVU, TEXAS, PSU, USC, FLORDIA FAN. I dont get it, how is that possible, little do these uninformed kids know your best shot is the temas with the best winning percentage in the modern era is NU, OU, AND UM

I wan't all of you to go to CBS.COM and watch the first 7 minutes of jericho, at onepoint it is the main character and this army guy talking and he goes "treat your wounded mourn your dead, the nightmare is over and order will be RESTORED", the it cuts to the sound that is assciated with the show and the cover page which just says JERICHO on a al black screen but for us it should say huskers then should just show clips of us dominating teams 90's 80's 70's teams then some of the 2000's and update the clips week by week

see I am right there with what you are trying to say but I have a hard time finding my self in complete agreement. I feel that our team has underacheived, under solich, we had bo, bo worked with all those guys, I think if bo would of been there for the past 4 years we would of even seen top 5 in rankings think about the entire 2006 team. that isnt a bad team and we lost heart breakers. also e wouldnt of played like that in the BIG XII championship under Bo. (shoulda woulda coulda attitude I know) i will be happy with anything in the top 30 defenses

See why cant more people who come on this board from another fanbase and say something respectable like that, and i dont underestimate kansas, i have just marked it as a win, cause I hope for it and beleive peleni can do it, but good luck with your season, and its about time the north becomes a power

I will admit one thing MU will be a power next year even more than last year if they can do one thing, last year Mizzou would come into a game and kick some behind but something about the 4th quarter with MU. games they broke in the 4th quarter BOTH OU games, the KU game, but they still won. those are the few i watched of MU but one thing i will say is they didnt agaisnt NU ahah nope. something about us got them pumped Well of course NU gets us pumped up, how many years have you dominated us in football before 03'? And throw in the 97', yes something about NU gets us going. Maybe it is the history and tradition that is NU football that gets us going. I am very confident in our players and coaches for next year. But we still have to do it on the field. OH haha I was just saying that as in sarcastic manor i know you guys love the game and by the way 97 game was on the other haha its the only thing that made me feel good about husker football in a while. But ya, I would love for this game to get more and more excitment around it and become a balanced rivalrly. I have always said "I hope everyteam in the north becomes amazing, except I hope nebraska is just a little better always" its good to have fun competition in your conference and division. Best of luck to MU next year just not on October 4th cause North east Ohio to Lincoln, is a long drive, I dont wanna see a loss I agree, I like the fact that the North as a group is becoming better. And I have the same philosophy as you. Everyone can be good until we play them. I think MU/NU is pretty balanced now. We have traded winning on field turf since 03'. I will be in Lincoln in October for the game as well. Bet ya, the winner buys the loser a beer? Oh its on, by the way I just wanna hear an honest MU fan opinion because any other MU fan i get exposed to is ussually a just a banwagon fan considering im in OHIO, so they just tell me NU SUX AND TO SHUT UP Gabbert doesnt fit, does he like really? Does Gabbert fit our system? Is that the question? YA i think a qb like him could excel elsewhere, you guys should of started picking off the dual threats, hell still have a chance at pryor hahah I think he fits in great in our system. He has a strong arm, very accurate. He is deceptively fast/quick for his size. What he needs to develope that Chase Daniel has is the ability to make incredibly quick decisions. I guess when I look at our system, he is a great fit. We do not run the QB that much. Brad Smith had to out of necessity. Chase runs when it is open, otherwise he would rather throw the ball. ya geuss your right but just hurts for a NU fan.

game day for the Va tech week will go to Illinois penn state, happy valley is a great gameday enviroment, lots of fans, illinois fans will come out of the woodwork for it too
