  1. My brother and I had a great laugh about this thread last night. It is true he hangs with some of the freshman Huskers and that is what they told him. No proof once again but we thought it would be fun to watch people shred me if I actually told you some "insider info". Now regardless, Zac is a good kid and not too shabby QB. Players do get ahead of themselves when speaking sometimes. Not hanging the kid out to dry but Bo apparently isn't too keen on cockiness. I can also tell you that nobody wants to beat OU more than our boys they know how important this game is. They also understand the "rivalry" but most just want to prove how good they really are. P.S. no worries I'll keep any more info I get to myself I just wanted to watch the reaction. GBR
  2. Yes and his mother is a hamster and father father smells of elderberries. Lol I love you Vince. Watch the Game tomorrow and I'm pretty sure his mom isn't a hampster the elderberries thing I'm not sure could be. Stop drinking and go to bed. not drinking but you're right it is time for bed and tell your nephew GoodLuck. but as he every where at all times I'm sure he will be ok

  4. Oh, BTW watch Helu he is gonna carry the ball like a fullback hands crossed over high and tight. His arm is still a bit numb but feeling better.
  5. Since he didn't feel the need to come clean, I'm doing it for him. This hear-say stuff is just wrong. Especially when it's at the expense of somebody who is innocent. ok I guess we shall see then....like I said no proof......Lee didn't seems cocky to me anyways A COCKY FOOTBALL PLAYER, OMG SIMPLY UNHEARD OF. Lee is cocky, he is also a good guy from EVERYTHING I hear, you can be both. You obviously have an agenda which is too bad you chose to bad mouth these kids. once again no proof just telling you guys What I heard from my brother, I personally hope it isn't true I think Green is the future but I would hate to have Lee go down like that Nice back peddle. If you are going to instigate this type of spew, make sure you can back it up. Since your first two posts, you have done a backpedaling moonwalk that would make Michael Jackson rise and dance from his grave. LMAO ok we shall see
  6. lol I sure am I guess if I'm wrong I will have to leave the board I guess time will tell. All I can say is I can't prove it is true. But, then again prove me wrong.

  9. So I have no link to prove this to you guys but: as I said before My little Brother is friends with a couple of the guys on the team. After the Baylor game he started cocking off in the locker room. Bo told him there was no room for that on the team and he was suppose to be a leader so he could lead from the sidelines.
  10. I get the feeling and this is just my feeling that Bo thinks he is faking it. That's why he has kept him in. He really needs to step it up and at least put out what the freshman are or step out.
  11. Meh- it's all just coach speak he is probably telling behind closed doors "No balls-No babies boys so man up"
  12. http://www.examiner.com/x-2792-Nebraska-Co...ska-vs-Oklahoma Last week in Waco the Huskers got a much needed win with the help of true freshman quarterback Cody Green. It wasn't pretty but at this point in the season I'll take a victory in any fashion. Nebraska's opponent this Saturday would more than likely say the same thing. Everyone by now knows Oklahoma has really struggled with injuries especially that of former Heisman winner Sam Bradford and All-American tight end Jermaine Gresham. Just like the Huskers, the Sooners also unexpectedly have three losses. The difference between the Big Red and the Crimson and Cream is OU's losses are by a combined five points with all three opponents being ranked. Unlike their Big 12 Championship run last season, Oklahoma is now working with an offense that struggles to score at times, but still has the ability to put a hurting on opponents. This season, on the defensive side of the ball, the Sooners are as deadly as ever and without a doubt has one of the best defenses in the country. On the year, the OU defense is allowing just 12.6 points per game. Led by defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, the Sooner defense will definitely be licking their chops against an overwhelmingly stagnant Husker offense especially with true freshman Cody Green more than likely starting under center again. The good thing for Nebraska is the blackshirt defense could very well be just as good as the Sooners. If you take out of consideration two opposing defensive touchdowns this season (Texas Tech and Baylor) the Husker defense is allowing only 9.5 points per game. For the Huskers there's no doubt their success starts up front on the defensive line. If Suh, Crick, Allen and Turner can get a strong rush and shut down the Sooner ground game, the odds of a Husker upset greatly increases. It's a night game in the Sea of Red so if Bo Pelini's blackshirts force Landry Jones into pressure packed passing situations Nebraska very well could force several turnovers in what will be a hostile environment. Now like I said before, I can only imagine that Cody Green will once again be starting the game. That being said, it's vital that Dontrayevous Robinson is on his game and can be a bruiser much like he was versus Iowa State and Baylor. Robinson got a bit banged up last week against the Bear which is why much wasn't seen of him the second half. The big thing for both Robinson and Green is that they don't have to go out and attempt to win the game themselves. If each player has a solid game and simply concentrate on clock management, the offense will be in good shape. Now I fully expect Helu to play as well and excuse for being a but pessimistic but each game since Missouri, Helu has been expected to be healthy enough to play and it just hasn't shown. So unless something drastically changes this week, I just don't see Helu being super effective against Oklahoma. I do however think that in order to pull off a victory offensive coordinator Shawn Watson will have to allow Green to throw the ball down field in hopes of making a big play. Unfortunately there is just no way the Nebraska offense will be able to consistently put together 10-12 play drives on such a tough Sooner defense. There hasn't't been nearly as many trick plays as last season, so Saturday maybe the time to call a few if the Huskers want success on offense. One play maker the Huskers will have to keep an eye on is wide receiver Ryan Broyles. Coming back from injury, Broyles looked to return back to old former against a much improved Kansas State team last week as he snatched up eight receptions for 91 yards and two touchdowns. So if the blackshirt defense can indeed force Oklahoma to throw the ball, it will be extremely important that the defensive line gets as much pressure as possible on Jones. It pry wouldn't't be a bad idea for Carl and Bo to thrown in some shifty blitz packages as well. Anything can happen under the lights at Memorial Stadium, especially when it involves one of the greatest rivalries in college football history. I fully expect this game to be an all out slug fest between two of the best defenses in the nation. The outcome could very well depend on who makes one or two costly turnovers. That being said, I truly hope Pelini allows his defense to be more aggressive this weekend in an attempt to jump a few routs and grab some interceptions, rather than just giving the Sooners short passes. Throw the records out the window, when it comes to the Sooners versus the Huskers, both teams will be playing for pride and attempt to build some momentum for the second half of the conference schedule. So far this season I have regressed from being a homer by picking against the Big Red on every game in which they weren't favored. However there just seems to be a special aura and feeling about this game and a victory would go along ways for the Huskers if they are able to pull off an upset. So here it goes. Prediction Nebraska 23 Oklahoma 21
  13. No opinions. The fact is OU vs. NU is no longer a rivalry. The lopsidedness has nothing to do with this game no longer being a rivalry. What does, is fact that each team has gone their separate ways with NU not having a rival and OU's being Texas. What part of this do you not understand? Its a "fact" because you said it is? Isn't that what im hearing? Listen here Junior, you seem to "know it all" so anytime you'd like to join me in the "shed" Id be happy to show you what a "rivalry" is all about!!! You'd lose there just as you are here. Dude Baylor just called They said they miss their #1 factual fan.
  14. Oh, I think we still have something to prove. I don't know about you guys but I know ISU and VT were flukes. Our goal is to take the north and win a bowl game. I see this game as our chance to say we arn't just punks we are NU and we may not be fully back but we are still a force to be dealt with. I hope we win just so we can tell all these "realistic people" to Choke on it. Come over to my house for the game I got plenty-o-koolaid. G B R
  15. I have a good feeling about this game for no other reason than WE ARE DUE. When is the last time that Nebraska really pulled an upset? When have we done anything surprising? Seriously... every other team gets that moment of sunshine and magic. I don't even remember watching a game where Nebraska surprised me. I guess I have to go back to 94-95. When we finally got traction in the big bowl game, that was a surprise. What I do not want to see that I've seen in every Nebraska debacle is that first three minutes of hell. We do something stupid to let it blow up on us... a big run, a turnover... that horrid moment when they punt to us and we fumble... the sickening feeling of watching OU run back the opening kick for a touchdown. That first offensive fumble. The blown coverage on the long pass. As long as I can make it through the first 3 minutes without something really stupid happening, then I'll be okay. I honestly think that is what this whole game is going to be about. Control the first quarter you can guarantee they will be going for our throats. Keep them down to maybe 1 TD in the first quarter and the game could be ours. I also foresee them airing the ball out to try to hit our weak spot. If our D can catch a Few that we have been dropping start the bus up OU.
