There was a MNF game last season that the announcers were calling Stew's name constantly, he also was a beast in the playoffs if I remember correctly (could be wrong). He's a very solid NFL player.

Under the overpass on the west side of the stadium is a great place to tailgate. Get there early, and try to get a spot close to the porta johns cause the lines can get long. Everyone seems to be great and the atmosphere is 2nd to none. The stadium view is great too.

WOW! I don't know why you would be up on the stump calling Mack Brown the most overrated coach in college football! He is the best CEO this country has right now... As much as I hate the Longhorns, this is one of the lamest things I hear from Texas haters...this guy wins 10 games a year and he is overrated???? I don't get the logic... And then to add in that you can't wait until Muschamp takes over...when is the last time a hand pick successor has gone on to replace a legend....??? Muschamp is 10 times the hot head Bo ever was and he will always be too involved with the D at Texas to be truly successful. Mack gets it right...he hugs moms when he meets them, he pays and recruits the best assistant's and let's them do their jobs...coach'em up!!! Again, I hate Texas more than anyone on here...but let's be realistic Muschamp is a hot head but 10 times worse than Bo? Maybe we should ask Matt O'Hanlon.

I think we have the players to run the option if we wanted to but what we lack is an offensive staff as whole that is completely schooled in how to teach and run the option to perfection. I would have loved to see Helu back in the day in the old system. But the only two coaches with extensive option experience are Brown and Cotton and they couldn't teach everybody effectively enough to get the job done. The variations that we show every once and awhile now are enough to keep me happy.

I would say when we start beating the upper half of the teams in the conference more often. Starting to split games with the consistent contenders would be a huge step in getting the attention of the more high profile recruits. Sending a few more players to the NBA would help also. I wish we could make an imidiate impact, but building our basketball program is a task much like Iowa State building their football program. I believe that Doc is the right man for the job and as long as T.O. gives him the funding and support he needs, Doc will build us into a respectable basketball team.

I read something about this kid in the paper a few days ago. It really seems like Doc isn't backing down at all when it comes to getting some studs into this program, which is a GREAT thing. If we can keep Doc around long enough, he will build NU into a respectable basketball program.

There were a couple of walk-ons playing in the game and the 2 that played really well were a DB and Mitch Hron. Hron is a LB that has great instincs and plays 100 mph. I was impressed by both and look forward to seeing if either one can get some playing time in the next few years.

..............anyway, I also enjoyed watching Cody play whether it was on O or D. I wish him and his family the best.

Congrats on your engagement man, my wife and I just celebrated our 1 yr anniversary June 7. The football game is a great idea and hopefully it works out for you. But incase it happens to not work out this could be an alternative, for my bachelor party we got about 20 guys from her fam and mine and friends and went down for the Spring Game. Tickets are cheap and it is treated like a game day by everyone. We had a blast tailgating and drinking and going to the bars after the game that night. Everyone still talks about that being the coolest bachelor party they have been to. Just another idea. Good Luck! and tell TO hi for me

This guy is going to be huge this year as long as he can stay healthy. I expect our offense to gel much faster this season than it did last year, VaTech will be a very tough test early to see what we can do.

Just let the Missery fans have their moment, it makes it that much more fun knowing what is coming to them in the future. For some reason they think they have arrived and it is only a matter of a couple more months before we get to start bitch slapping them around again like the mouthy little step brother that just doesnt fit in.

Good lord, what the hell is wrong with these guys. Maybe have Grant Wistrom and Jason Peter come stay for a few days and show this team how things are delt with internally. Suh has had chats with JP, he should tell him how to handle these situations, like whoever gets in trouble gets their ass kicked. Seemed to work fine back then.

He has had an injury plagued career but even last season before he got hurt he was still better than half the safties in the league. Hopefully he gets a shot somewhere. I would love to see him go to KC!
