I think Lunardi and Palm are straight up trolling us. Any other year our record would be a lock for the tourney. I’m not buying 8 teams from the Big 12.

I think we lost a little in terms of set plays and offensive rhythm when Craig Smith took a head coaching job as a result of our success in 2014. Hopefully we can keep improving on those aspects. If we keep making little bits of progress here and there and keep bringing in talent like we have right now we could be pretty dangerous.

I'm with you. I get so tired of the Miles haters. Yeah his overall record isn't the best but he's the only coach we've had that has had some actual success since Danny Knee.

Oklahoma should not even be on the bubble. They've lost a ton of recent games. Only reason they will get in because ESPN is Obsessed with Trae Young. I'll take JPJ over Trae Young any day.

Such a Nebraska thing to do losing this game and making things a lot more difficult. At least we have still made major improvements over last year and still a possibility of making the big dance, just a lot more difficult now.

It’s like no one will even give Miles any credit for 2014. If nothing else he has raised the bar of expectations. No other coach since Danny Nee have we had any kind of expectations. You hit the nail on the head. You’d think more fans would realize we are still working on building our basketball program. We are doing way better than last year yet for some that’s not good enough. Some people need need to attend “managing expectations 101” Have we not learned anything from the football team and it’s coaching fiasco?

I totally get the point of not taking full advantage of our teams potential. I just fear going back to the Doc Sadler days where we have zero talent be the team is no fun to watch. Hopefully this is just us being beat by a ranked team on the road and we go on a nice run to finish the season.

So we lost by 5 to a ranked team on the road. Given that we played terribly I don't see how you can be that upset and continue calling for the coaches head. Sometimes you have a bad night shooting, or the other team just plays better and beats you. I'd be really careful playing the coaching roulette game. Have some faith, we have the talent and this team has a ton of potential. Don't forget that we just destroyed a Michigan team at home by 20 points.

Funny you say you’d boo him if he came back. Sounded to me like he had overwhelming support from the fans when he checked in against Michigan, and I’m glad he’s back.

Very ugly win but it still counts. Hopefully we can improve on our rebounding and free throws. Fixing those issues will help a lot.

Lack of player development shouldn’t rest solely on the coach alone, the player has to make the commitment to develop and put the work in to make themselves better. This is really sucks after he had his best game against Wisconsin.

Time to decide if we want to step forward and be the team we are capable of, or regress into frustrations of the past years. I think we will be making the step forward. Need to win this one at home.

Only need 7 more now. Winning last night against Northwestern on the road makes it a lot more possible. Have faith!!
