  2. willie amos he was a 4 star 6-2 wr who ran a 4.3 40
  3. who do you think will be the top defensive player for next year? i am going to say asante or thenarse at the safety positions, pelini is known to send speed blitzes and both thenarse and asante are amazing hitters and are fast enough to fit pelini's needs what do you say?
  4. ganz isnt really the kind of air it out qb that youd usually think of, he likes much more to zip the ball into his receivers in perfect running stride and he isnt afraid to throw it, watch our first couple games and you will notice that I dont' think you know what you're talking about. Keller has forever been herladed as a gunslinger, making the long throws that don't appear to be there. Ganz on the other hand tries to lob the ball to the receiver, he doesn't have much of an arm and hardly ever threw the deep ball...I'm not sure where you got that assessment. how do you think marlon lucky broke the school record for catches in a season? how do you think joe ganz broke school records for passing touchdowns and passing yards in a single game? ganz nearly had more yards passing than keller and didnt even start till after the texas game, ill admit ganz doesnt have an arm as strong as keller but it doesnt mean he wont throw it, i dont know about anybody else but watching keller play half the time id wish hed throw the deep ball that he can (which i never said he couldnt throw) instead of dumping it off to the running back or to the receiver running the quick slant
  5. some of you might be underestimating what bo has got here, callahan was quoted as to saying that he didnt think that he could develop guys from a raw form into todays all american players, thats why he put an emphasis on recruiting, he thought that if he had talented kids and juco kids with experience, it would translate into wins, obviously he was wrong, glen dorsey credits his success soley to pelini, he says pelini was a big factor in his work ethic, alot of these players we currently have on the team have the talent but just have lacked the proper coachingand havent been tested at their true level, who knows what we really have? ie heard that callahan even picked favorites for starters, take sam keller over joe ganz or whoever over zach bowman, i mean bowman is nfl talent and after he gets back he barely plays cuz the coaches dont have faith in his abilities, overall pelini has the talented kids he has everything he needs, i mean why can mangino take 2-3 star maybe even unknown prospects and make them starters for a national contender team? to really see what hes inherited you have to look at the bigger picture

  7. ok kansas fans i have to give it up to you you guys had an amazing season and ended on a hot note BUT where would kansas have been had they hired callahan as their coach? im sure theyd be battling it out with the likes of ksu and iowa state. as for next year i see kansas losing to oklahoma and texas and will lose again in the big 12 championship to oklahoma, lets face it oklahoma is going for a national championship much less the big 12. for you iowa state fans, i think they will have an improved year after their stunning second half beating colorado and ksu possibly winning maybe 6-7 games. nebraska will have a much improved season on defense especially and i dont see their offense dropping too much, if you compare joe ganz and sam keller youll note that keller likes to dump it off to the rb for maybe 3 yards while ganz can through the deep ball, i say well win 9-10, i think well have the possiblity of upsetting mizzou maybe even ku, i cant tell the odds for vt until they play a game noting their up and down season last year we might have a chance. finally to all those fans who bash us husker fans for talking up our team...get over it, what fan doesnt take pleasure in saying their team will have a better year so dont come to a husker forum and bash us for liking our team and giving hope to the other husker fans on here
