Well when you are 1 of only 2 teams left in the BCS conferences that haven't beaten a top 19 team since november 2001 people seem to perceive you as irrelevant in the current standing/decade. Duke is the only other team besides Nebraska.

get used to everyone on fsn forgetting about Nebraska. FSN is the big12's network...why would they give us any love? better days are ahead.

If beating Texas at home is going to be easier than beating the wildkitties in Manhattan I'm booking my ticket to Tempe today You do understand that KSU is the week before the Texas game? I could see us losing that game just because of us looking ahead to that revenge game. That is my justification.

careful the way you just throw that term around, you get all the old timers all hootin and hollering thinking the 70's-90's are back (couldn't resist, sorry! I really do respect most of who have been here before me). However, I think it is important to understand that we will NOT line up in double tights maryland I formations, at least not in regularity. If we do go to a power running game/option you will see that it looks ALOT more like Oregon's running game rather than the old 1990's version of the Huskers. Of course I'm not one of the coaches nor do I ever get to see practices or hear of what coaches talk about so I could be blowing smoke. I just really really think that this is the way we are headed rather than back to the 3 yards and a cloud of dust era. 3 yards and cloud of dust?? You must be very young and never seen them play. They usually were in the top 5 rushing & scoring in the nation so it was "5" yards or "6" yards or "55" yards and a cloud of dust (and a change in the scoreboard). Also, in 31 years (25 TO/6 FS) of "3 yards and a cloud of dust" they never had an offense as inept as last year. Yea, I vaguely remember the 90's. I remember 97 the best, and trust me, I know my Nebraska history.

my money is on Ohio State this season. Bama vs Penn St will tell the story on how well bama should be this season.

What I normally do is run a mixture of Man-Zone Coverages, and mix in alot of Zone Blitz. This usually helps me out. I don't seem to be giving up alot of points. Never use a linebacker unless you know its a run coming at you. I generally use the Defensive Ends or my Free Safety since he plays zone over the top most of the time. On offense check to slide your linemans protection if they blitz heavy and maybe take your RB's route out of play and keep him in to block. Just hard to get used to it. I had the same problems early.

I know losing Harper sucks, but I'm alot more worried about Braylon Heard. is it true he's not coming or is it still rumor?

Does huskerboard ever do tailgates on game days? I think it would be sweet to pull off. Kinda interested in meeting some of the huskerboard faithful, but in a totally NON creepy way!

I have had this happen to me, not for NCAA 11 but in the past with other games...usually just keep putting it back in and taking it out till it works...generally works. To your previous questions. Online dynasty is set up so we can all play in the same season(s) so week by week on the game we all play our game and then the commish (me) can review and check to see if everyone has played their respective games for that week. When you have finished your game from said week, you have the option to pick if you are ready to advance to the next week, it will let me know that you are ready, if you like to recruit after your games you can do all that but don't click the "ready to advance" if you want to recruit first. If we ever cross each others path in the season then I think we should coordinate a time on huskerboard to meet up and play the game (the 2 players it concerns) It should be alot of fun, I'm excited, and hope you all are as well. Its set on All-American, and 7 minute quarters (time seems to run faster than previous games, in my opinion. This can also be changed if no one likes it being that long) On another note. After (if) we get a full group going, I will click advance and put a notice on huskerboard that we're all ready for week 1. If we don't have a full group by Monday, July 19th I will advance it to week 1 after I get off work that day at 3pm. Good Luck, Have fun.
