Sometimes when I go to one of the Husker bars to watch a game I see people in Black husker jerseys with red/ White numbers. Anyone know where I can get one of those?

No way. LSU has a much better recruiting base. Why would he leave a program that is in the title hunt year in and year out at this point, to take over a rebuilding project? Mich is going to have a hard time finding a coach. When it is all said and done, they go with a mid level BCS coach. Grobe maybe. Although LSU has it good, Michigan is home for him and still a more storied program- one fo 5 schools with 800+ wins. Did we have a hard time finding a coach? I think the Michigan job is more desirable right now than the Husker job was when it was open. He was asked about it in a news conference and he did nothing but add to the speculation. His answer was something like "I am happy here and want to focus on what we have going this season but I certainly feel for my people up there in Michigan" That to me, sounds like Michigans next coach. I certainly didn't come up with this idea on my own. I'm not that clever. I haven't heard a local, regional, or national sports figure that doesn't think Miles is the next Michigan coach.

Breaking in another new QB. Wow! That's gonna hurt. No, really. I mean, look at Oklahoma. :-P They do have a talented Freshman QB but I don't think they system is as complicated. Most people say it takes 2 years to really know Cally's offense. Taylor really understood it and was a pretty talented kid with a lot of heart but he was a JUCO plug in and he went as far as his talent would take him. Keller has all the skills but really only gets to play 1 year in this system. The talent we have behinf Keller is awesome but we'll need 1 year for someone to play themselves into the offense and then I do think we are back to top 10 status. Ideally we get to a recuriting place where, you redshirt, work hard to learn the system for a couple of years and get 2 years of playing time with depth at every position. I do believe we are heading that way. BTW- even though I think we will probably lose, don't think I won't be glued to the TV screaming my head off!! I want us to win! I want us to be a top 10 team!! I live in CO, I want to unleash on my neighbors.

Miles will take the Michigan job. Maybe Pelini gets the LSU job.

I disagree; we are where we should be. That is a good rating for the games we have played. The # 14 seems high to me until you look at the teams around us. Cal struggled with CSU, Wisc had trouble with UNLV, UCLA had trouble with BYU, Ohio State wasn't exactly impressive with that high school team they played. Texas is over-rated!

Wow. You are gonna get attacked for not beleiving that we can win every game and if we don't then fire the coaches!! Yeah, I think we will probably lose this game. I hope not but it is gonna be tough. We are a Top 20 team. amybe even a Top 15 team, but I don't think we are a Top 10 team......yet. Because we have to break in a new QB next year, we won't be a Top 10 team for 2 more years.

Good point...last year yes we lose this game and also we probably would give up a couple hundred more passing yards against them. I agree with is as well. Last year we lose that game. I also agree lots of poor tackling. The coaches have plenty for the team to work on this week and I think that is a good thing. The team will be focused going into Sat. I can't believe all of the panic and venom from so many people on this board. We still have a chance to be 4-0 after our non-conference schedule. We'll prbably be 3-1. Many people outside the Husker nation thought we'd be 2-2.

I almost started a post on this board about Pellini's defense while I was watching that game. I was pretty amazed at how many times Wake had success with that playground end around variation. Some peoor tackling as well. I'm not ready to run Coz out of town but I don't think he is exactly brilliant over there. Lots of ranked teams this week struggled with lesser opponents. Most people on this board really underestimated Wkae Forrest as well. Probably don't get to see enough ACC football. I wasn't really surprised at all about a squeeker of a game. I thought we might even lose that one. We have a pretty solid team that can face adversity and win a close game on the road (with the help of a no-call from the refs).

But if I'm at the NU- CU game in Boulder, surely I should allowed to talk some trash. Its almost impossible not to. I can't be provoked that many times and not act!!! I'm not alone on this am I? CU fans have to be treated like the classy fans they are! CU- the new Baylor.

I thought Freeman looked decent and showed toughness. They committed about 6 personal fouls when I was watching. WTF!!!! They also false started way too many times (even for a 1st game) and their left tackle was a turnstyle. Auburn really looked bad though too.

Go to the Coloradoans for Nebraska site and see where the games are broadcast now. I thought it was somewhere in the 500's AM. I think Huskerpedia has info on whree to find AM broadcasts in other states. I think you said you are in Denver. The Fox and Hound on Arapahoe broadcasts NU games and there are enough huskers there to remind you why you moved away!! ; )
