…oh, AND he was the one that wanted to keep the online coach.

Satterfield is so screwed!
Fans always blame the OC, even when they don’t know what they’re talking about.
He already has skeptics including in the media.
He’s making the most money.
He will be the target of so much angst.

For as much as some people don’t trust Rhule’s staff hires ( some of it justified for sure), I like this one.

Don’t quote me, but I think GAs (limited to 4 per team now) can have direct player contact and coach coach at practice/game days.Analysts aren’t allowed to coach at practice/game days. But most teams have analysts who “coach” and don’t get caught (unless you piss one off and he turns you in for it).
When you say analysts can’t coach, can they be in meetings and just not in the field for practice/ games? Also, didn’t Harbaugh just get busted for what Frost did (analysts coaching) only worse ( contacting croots)? I wonder why it took so much longer to be dealt with.
-
Are we hiring more analysts or are we just getting more info on them?
seems like more but I don’t know?
If there aren’t limits on it, I like the idea of hiring a ton of them.
Does someone have a link to how much time an analyst/ GA, etc can work with players? Can some be at practice and some only in meeting rooms? Im sure there are rules for this but I don’t even know where to look.

However; Colorado was in an ever worse spot, and Deion has put together a class that is almost unbelievable with all things considered.
Is it though?
Am I reading things right that he brought in 20 transfer portal players? That’s almost double all the other schools in the portal rankings. He def is bringing some talent but the transfer portal is as much of a crap shoot, if not more, than HS recruitIng.
Rhule- solid A.
The people unhappy or worried about the Asst coaches, I get it. Some of it makes sense.
It seems Rhule has an actual coaching tree. When he develops players it is more than just to play, it’s to be future coaches as well.
He is bringing in coaches he has mentored and groomed for this moment. Some probably won’t work out but I bet just as many will go on to get big jobs elsewhere…and that is when the young GA’s and position coaches get promoted to bigger positions here.
It doesn’t look to me like he is ‘bringing in his buddies.’ He is developing a pipeline for long term success.

So did he actually commit anywhere?

I wonder if we'll see many position changes from existing players. Haarberg, maybe?
I bet he has the connections to play QB at Kearney.

Diamonds in the rough at camp becoming football stars. But I don’t get the other part. I assume it has to do with the of line portal transfers?

Are we in this for real?

That’s good advice. The confidence is low after 23 seconds of thrusts. No eye contact may help. I’ll provide progress updates in the Ethan Nation thread.

@Mavric do you know if we are still after some non-transfer croots for the Feb signing day?

I was also about to mention Will Compton

@The Dude is right. If we can't make a bowl next year, what was the point of
hiring Rhule?firing Frost?Because football lasts more than 1 year? Because it takes times to turn around a bad program and he's done that? Seems like a silly question.
You really can't figure out what the point of firing Frost was?

I don't know that I would use the Fiesta Bowl to support the 3-3-5. While TCU has made some plays Michigan has 38 points on em with almost a whole quarter left.
I'd take the TCU defense all day.
They were fast, physical, tackled well, had 2 pick 6's, at least four sacks, a goal line stand (2?), and generated pressure from a multitude of places often with their front 3 or 4.
They held Michigan to 6 first half points and had the O confused a lot of the time. Of course they gave up some plays and points before it was over. It's Michigan. They're a really good team.
But they also played a great 4th quarter. In those final drive Meetchicken Qb was running for his life.

But he only has 1 year according to a poster here.

It will be interesting to see. Early articles (I think) had Sims saying that the staff told him they had packages for him. That made it sound like he was gonna play but CT was qb1.
The way the staff talked about Sims after signing day was way more positive than I thought the stats or tape shows so…who knows?
And if Hornsby commits here even more confusing.
I have to believe we have some players moving on. Too many schollies in the room right now.

Good luck to him. He was a bright spot in a pretty dismal time.
