  1. Today's youth are a bunch of d-bags - twitter - Who the F**K cares what someone is doing every couple minutes. I'm just waiting until PORN-TWITTER start's - I can just see some girl twittering from the set while she's taking it in the a** and then on the face.
  2. We will find out against VT - The first 2 games won't show us much.
  3. the mods there want you to finance their quarterly trips to vegas and underwrite their stripper/gambling expenses. *our* moderators know how to live within their means. stripper and gambling expenditures are all carefully considered and planned out a year in advance. now you know. You couldn't be farther from the truth on that - I've met the guy that runs that board and he is as staight arrow and boring as any Nebraska person you will ever meet. He goes to all the watchsites out here in CA and he's only been to the Hermosa Beach watchsite once because it's too out of control during the games and he even ratted us out to the University about how wild it is. Wow you seriously thought that HACK was being completely serious on that post? Wow..... I realize it was a joke, I just wanted to take a swipe at big red max who runs that site.
  4. Anyone that is on Facebook feel free to join our watchsite group that I created. Type Husker Football / Hermosa Watchsite in the search and it will come up.

  6. I think you get access to the rivals.com paid section.
  7. They reported on the Los Angeles local news that he met with and apoligized to the team - I wonder how they understood that broken english fool. All that money and he can't hire an out of work teacher to give him english lessons.
  8. or like a f**king junior high girl.
  9. Back in 1998 they had Nebraska #2 - F**k I guess they overated frank solich and now 11 years after were finally recovering.
  10. Besides being a former HUSKER great - He was a great pro. Although his final memory to some 49er fans is a costly fumble that enabled the New York Giants to beat the San Francisco 49ers in the 1991 NFC Championship game, "Cat Fish" and his distinctive high-knee running style was no doubt an integral part of the innovative San Francisco offenses during the 1980s. Craig’s numbers and Super Bowl rings should qualify him to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was the first running back to be elected to the Pro Bowl at both fullback and halfback, the first offensive player to run and catch for a thousand yards in a season and he also appeared in the playoffs every year of his illustrious career. He was the Marshall Faulk of his era. The San Francisco 49ers drafted the versatile Craig in 1983 out of Nebraska, where he held the Cornhuskers' record for longest run from scrimmage, a 94-yard scamper against the Florida State Seminoles in 1981. During his extremely productive rookie campaign, Craig scored 12 all-purpose touchdowns as the 49ers reached the 1984 NFC Championship game against the Washington Redskins. A year later in Super Bowl XIX at Stanford Stadium, Craig caught seven passes for 77 yards, added 58 yards on the ground, and became the first player in Super Bowl history to score three touchdowns as the 15-1 San Francisco 49ers dominated the highly publicized Dan Marino and his 14-2 Miami Dolphins, 38-16. The following season, Roger Craig rewrote pro football's record books, becoming the first player in NFL history to rush and receive for 1,000 yards each in the same season. He led the NFL with 92 catches for 1,016 yards and added an impressive 1,050 yards on 214 carries, scoring a team-high 15 touchdowns in the process. In 1988, Craig was named the Associated Press NFL Offensive Player of the Year. Craig put the stumbling 49ers offense on his shoulders as he ran for a career-high 1,502 yards and caught 76 passes for 534 yards. He went on to assist the inconsistent 10-6 49ers to a Super Bowl berth by amassing 262 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in their two playoff games against the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears. Author Poll Results Does Roger Craig deserve to be in the Hall of Fame? Yes 100.0%No 0.0%Total votes: 254 In the 49ers' 20-16 last minute victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl XXIII at Joe Robbie Stadium, he caught eight passes for 101 yards and added 71 yards rushing. Craig made clutch play after clutch play on the final drive, which culminated with Joe Montana's touchdown pass to John Taylor with 34 seconds left in the game. San Francisco advanced to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row the following season, aided by Craig's 1,527 rushing and receiving yards, along with his 240 combined yards and two touchdowns in their two dominating playoff victories over the Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Craig caught five passes for 34 yards, rushed for 69 yards, and scored a touchdown as the 14-2 San Francisco 49ers annihilated John Elway and the Denver Broncos 55-10 in Super Bowl XXIV at the Louisiana Superdome. The 49ers went 14-2 in 1990 during their quest to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls but in the 1991 NFC Championship Game as San Francisco tried to hold on to a slim 13-12 lead, Craig put the ball on the ground late in the fourth quarter and Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor alertly fell on the football. We all know the New York Giants won the game 15-13 on a last second Matt Bahr field goal, eventually winning Super Bowl XXV as Buffalo Bills' kicker Scott Norwood missed a 47-yard field goal wide right, preserving the 20-19 victory in Tampa. Some fans didn't forgive Craig for the mistake despite all his accolades and accomplishments he earned as a member of the world champion San Francisco 49ers. In 1992, Craig moved down I-5 South and left for the Los Angeles Raiders with longtime 49er hero Ronnie Lott via Plan B Free Agency. He spent his final year in the NFL playing for the Minnesota Vikings in 1993. In a move of touching symbolism, Craig would retire a 49er in 1994, signing a one-day contract during the offseason before Steve Young and San Francisco went on to a blistering 13-3 season, culminating in a 49-26 thrashing of the overmatched San Diego Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX. Since then, Craig has waited patiently to hear his name called as a Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee. Craig was finally selected as one of the 25 semifinalists considered for the Hall of Fame in 2009 since being eligible in 1999. It's a shame that such a key figure of the San Francisco 49ers in the 1980s continues to be overlooked by the voters. For everything he has done for the San Francisco 49ers, Roger Craig deserves to have his No. 33 retired and a spot in Canton alongside Joe Montana, Ronnie Lott, Fred Dean, Steve Young and Bill Walsh. They couldn't have done it without him. San Francisco 49ers in the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame
  11. I say welcome him - COMPETION IS GOOD!!!
  12. See this is why I really don't like NFL scouts, directors of personnel, the criteria for drafting, etc... They'll drool over, and draft, a 6'5" 250 lbs loser from KSUcks, whose only accomplishment in his entire college career were two victories over Texas and ignore a 6'0" 200 playmaker who stepped in as a starter in late '07 and continued to get better as '08 went along. When it comes to making plays and leading a team is there seriously anyone who would choose freeman over Ganz? My answer is in a TEXT I sent!!
  13. I'll be one of the guys in red with a beer in his hand, stop by and say hi.
  14. Damn, I theought Ganz would catch on and at least be a practice squad player.
  15. I thought it was!! Guess you learn something new every day!! lol How did that virtual fan promotion work out? How many imaginary fans were at the spring game?
  16. That's what assistant coaches are for, you delegate different tasks and then meet with them to discuss. It's just like a business, you can't do everything by yourself that's why you hire people. But the presidents/bosses of those companies still make the decisions, don't they? How overboard do you think we go in analyzing some of the scenarios? The boss always has the final decision - you can't rule by committee and yes I think everyone goes overboard analyzing everything. Funny thing is that people make things diffucult that's why the world is in the state it is.

  18. i would imagine that winning, head to head, coaches, facilities, where they grew up have a lot more to do with it than fans & history I have never doubted what NU had done in the past, but you are talking about 17 & 18 year-old kids who probably have no clue what happened 10, 20, 30 & 40 years ago. At best their memories go back 5-7 years. NU has done nothing more than anyone else during that time. There is a whole generation outside of Nebraska that know nothing of what NU used to be. All the proof you need for that is to read the interviews they do with these kids. "I dont really know much about nebraska. I am going to go up there and check it out." I cant begin to even count the number of times I have seen that quote or something simular. P.S. What NU should do in MHO, is use the spring game for charity like other schools do. They have enough $ for the program. Instead of pocketing that money, they could take canned goods like MU does, or clothing donations. Just think about the good will that would create. Not only from the state of NU which already loves the university, but more so to the rest of the country. just a thought.... Well in theory a charity donation sounds good but it costs a lot run the atheletic dept. Nebraska only made around $100,000.00 profit on approx 70 million in revenue after paying all the bills last year so every penny counts.
  19. The important part was the $776,700.00 that the school made in one day for a scrimmage. - Too the rest of the north teams.
  20. #1 reason opposing teams are making out of staters buy season tickets so that we don't over run the stadium with a SEA OF RED.
  21. The difference now is that they won't QUIT on BO - That's worth 7 points on offense and a -14 points on Bofense.
  22. Ilove differences of opinion, the spice of life, but what an odd take this is. A couple points to address... 1) If we beat you, we beat you. Who won 30 years ago doesn't get added to the score post mortem. It is not like you do not know what is coming up at this point. 2) KSU is a different school. Sorry that confuses you... 3) Combining records against different schools does not help make your point. What happens in Manhattan is not so relevant to what is happening in Lawrence. The same can be said for most states (California, Texas, Michigan, Oklahoma, Alabama, Florida, etc) , so does having only one major football prgram somehow cause you math issues? So now that I have cleared those points up, good luck to you too buddy. Stay classy. ku & ksu are the same to NEBRASKA - your a speed bump we hit every know and then - For ku football started 3 years ago and they're all pumping there chest. Teams that have no history and tradition will never understand what happens 30 years ago is still relevant to today. Don't get too worked up. South Bay is formerly known as Chad 1971 who had similar posts and idiotic rants. Check the woodshed or his Classy fans topic. He'll go away soon. WHAAAAAAAA! some jerkoff doesn't like me - Where am I going so I can pack. All he's saying is that you don't need to be so rude to fans of other teams who visits this site-which I whole-heartedly agree with. Now, if said opposing fan is clearly being a jerk, trolling and/or poking the hornets nest then fine, fire away. But, from what Ive been able to gather thus far, the fans from other teams on this site, for the most part, seem to be very level headed. I didn't know that when you state facts that it was being rude. These other teams in the north have got a few wins since 2001 and they act like they've beat us for 50 years. No matter what these visiting fans think - ku, ksu ,isu, cu, mu will never be the PROGRAM Nebraska is. I'm so sorry if these people didn't get the ball thrown to them when they were in grade school and they're still sensitive about it but jeez christ quit your crying!!!

  24. I am not sure I am buying this. We have been in bowl 3 of the last 4 years (bowl eligible all 4), won all 3, and one of those was a BCS bowl. Also, in the same period, we are batting .500 vs. you fine folks. I know you have BC to blame, but we have been doing fine outside of winning 2 vs. you lot. Actually, our biggest missing accomplishement is prbably a road win in Loncoln to break our dreaed streak there as well. Should be a good game, but not sure we have a "losing way" anymore... I would suggest that you guys might want to get over the attitude that how things were at Kansas guarnatees failure. While I see Nebraska staying an excellent program, I see Kansas becoming a permanent fixture as a competitive program in its own right. LOOK OUT HERE COMES THE jayhawks!!!
  25. The tix story is BS - Every school has an onsite NCAA compliance officer and the NCAA never had an inquiry about him selling tickets? The NCAA does not over look anything.
