I was thinking a sig with the same picture of Eric Martin you have on yours with electrity coming out of "the bones" and turning into my screen name. And in the background a night picture of memorial stadium. You can make it look cool however you want this is just an idea.

Matter of fact I didn't make finals. You can't use track for this because the best coaches on the best track clubs use it as a way to help keep youth off of the street away from gangs and many of these athletes are black. All you have to do is look at the 400m dash to see this is an ignorant point of view. Jeremy Wariner--43.45 seconds in the 400 which is the third fastest time IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. Behind Michael Johnson and Butch Reynolds. Most people involved in track and field regard the 400 as a true test of talent. Wariner is consistently the winning or second placing 400m runner in the world every time it is contested at major events. I am not sure if any of you have heard of the "Race" exhibit that has been traveling around to museums throughout the country but I recently went to see it. In the exhibit they have a part about sports and it talks about how African Americans have different muscle structuring in their legs that allows them to jump higher and run faster than any other race. This is scientific fact! As you said, Jeremy Wariner won the gold medal in Athens in 2004 but you did not mention he was the first white american to win an olympic spinting medal since 1964. That in itself proves the blacks dominance in sprinting. The 100 meters is the true test of speed, that is why we crown the olympic champion "the fastest man in the world." While speed is vital in the 400 it is not the determining factor in the race. The determining factor is hard work and hard training. I know it also takes more than just speed and strength to be a good running back it takes determination, hard work, and technique (which no race has an advatage over). This is why Rex is able to excel because he will out work anyone on the field. I may be stereotyping Rex when I think of him as a white running back but I have not said anything to degrade him as a person or football player. I think it is great we have a white running back at Nebraska it's just a rare sight in BCS football today. Yes it is 2010 but stereotypes will never disappear in sports as long as whites and blacks compete against each other. Heres to hoping Rex can help lessen those stereotypes over the next couple of years. Sorry if I offended anyone with this thread I did not want to start a race war I was just posing an honest question, hoping for some feedback.

getting back on track here, seriously what do you think makes him so good?

Why is Rex Burkhead so good? He is an undersized white kid from Texas and he is ripping it up at the running back position. He isn't the biggest or fastest kid on the team so why is he so good? I am not sure but I think he is so good because he has tremendous vision as a runner and he has a high football IQ. What do you guys think? What makes Burkhead so good? The deck is stacked against him but he still just rips it up.
