  1. Just wanted to come by and Congrats, You have classy fan base and Clemson really enjoyed the meating last year. Before you say it, it could have been better for us. But really enjoyed the quality of people who were associated with it.
  2. I think I will go start my depression now. (Clemson Fan) Great showing and Ganz is very good.
  3. I know i should not say anything but Ganz is hurt and is doing well under the circumstances.
  4. The anticipation of this game has been better than the memory will be, all we can hope for is that it will be hard played with an all out effort by both teams. Winner? I don't have a clue.
  5. I have found a lot of class here, Nebraska must be one of the few places where ethics are still a priority, Have enjoyed it.
  6. It's getting close, no crime sprees please.
  7. I understand and agree with the sentiment just want Clemson to do the beating. But what do we do when it is over and we've watched all the replays a million times? Gonna be a long dry spell.
  8. http://www.upstatetoday.com/news/2008/dec/...-beat-nebraska/ Dabo's statements remind me of something Bo would say.
  9. You have not lived in nebraska since 93. If you even clapped for another team the put their fist in your face. My standard reply (which i used a few times) was if you hit me, I will not hit back. That way it is an assault, not a fight, and you (the deranged fan) will be arrested. We had a nice thing going with all the Clemson fans here, and now you just took a little something away from it. Can you blame Nebraska for it's passion? We haveno pro football team, pro baseball team, pro basketball team, or anything else major (in terms of sports). The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is our football, our basketball, our baseball, etc. People just can't seem to understand that for one reason or another. I will not be at Clancy's on 114 Dodge on Thursday, I will be at home enjoying the game with family and friends the way it should be done. I hope you feel real cool issuing an assertive attack on Husker fans to come out there and screw with you (and don't say that's not what you're saying, because you are specifically calling out Husker fans to come find you in a BAR of all places). Grow up, have some class, and be like the rest of your Clemson brothers on this board and talk real football. Don't waste our time with petty challenges. As a Clemson fan I can tell you that all over the country Nebraska fans are considered as the greatest most respectful group that I personally have heard about, As much as I regret to say it Clemson does have a certain amount of gotta win with no appreciation of the game fans. For me the quality of the person is just as important as the quality of the player, winning is the objective but you don't have to be a jerk about it. Win or lose it will be a great game and I will enjoy it although if Nebraska wins I may be sick for about a week.

  11. http://www.charleston.net/news/2008/dec/29..._daunting66481/ Gonna be good
  12. Clemson is not faster than OU or TX. I dunno, MIA had more speed than Cal and they lost. Clemson is the faster than OU and Texas, much faster actually. Javid Best was the fastest player on the field in the Miami/Cal game and was difference maker. Speed kills and this game concerns me because of that. Well.... speed can kill but does not necessarily do so all time. I suppose if all other things are equal, then no doubt a speed advantage would kill most every time. But.... Bo has had his defense has playing pretty well all season and our LBers' especially are not very fast at all (I'm being generous here). That is, more often than not, NU is giving up a team speed advantage to their opposition --- most of the Big 12 is faster than NU. Yet, this year, for the most part, NU competed reasonably well. My point is that I do not doubt at all that Clemson will be faster than NU. Maybe even having a bigger speed advantage over us than most of the others we have played. That however is most concerning to me with special teams than it is with NU on offense or defense. For one, our offense is pretty effective w/o much team speed and that Clemson's defense will be rally fast is well... not that big a concern, we have scored on fast defenses before. When NU is on defense, so long as time of position is in our favor and we are not on defense that much --- and so long as field position is reasonable (and we don't turn it over on offense much, leaving our defense in a pickle, short field to defend, etc) we'll maybe be OK. Where the danger lies is special teams --- we need our kicks to be un-returnable --- if not, and their speed gets them routinely to the 40-50 yard line (or, worse still) then we can be in a world of hurt (now our defense is in a pickle). Adi Kunalic will play a huge roll in this game. If he can go 5 yards deep in the endzone on kicks then we'll be fine. The keys, as I see it. No turnovers for us. Good time of position. Adi Kunalic neutralizing their speed on returns and making them go 80 yards to score --- and NU will win. It is, however, precarious because a big play from them (or two) --- and speed can do that --- and NU is in trouble. Should be a great game. The betting line seems reasonable with Clemson a slight favorite. Clemson may have a speed advantage, as a Clemson fan I see a size difference being big. The OL will have to have their best game in order for anything else to go Clemson's way. All the junk talking aside I expect a very entertaining game with no clue how it will turn out.
  13. We will all know by the end of the game, why burn energy trying to figure it out ahead of time. We really don't have anything to base a guess on.
  14. CJ Spiller stats: G Rush Recv. Punt Ret. Kick Ret. Int. Ret. Plays Total Yards Yards/Play Yards/G 11 612 430 127 419 0 168 1588 9.5 144.4 He doesn't just run.
