  1. Who knows who is gonna win...Thats why they play the game, weird sh*t happens in games...Plenty will happen before the season even starts like players getting hurt, kicked off the team, etc ...Just because you think V-Tech has more talent doesn't mean they're going to win...Maybe one team will improve a bunch and the other just a little...But to say you dont see Nebraska winning means nothing when you havent even seen who the QB is...Why play the game if you've already chalked up a Loss...Should be a fun game but way to early to predict a winner
  2. I'm gettin pretty excited about our Defense for next season and the future of the Blackshirts...We have a good idea of what our D-line will look like, with the major ? of who takes the other DT spot...I could see our D-Line looking something like this: RDE: #95 Pierre Allen, 6-5, 265, Jr., Denver, Colo. DT: #93 Ndamukong Suh, 6-4, 300, Sr., Portland, Ore. DT #94 Jared Crick, 6-6, 280, So., Cozad, Neb. or #55 Baker Steinkuhler, 6-6, 290, RFr., Lincoln, Neb. LDE: #99 Barry Turner, 6-3, 265, Sr., Antioch, Tenn. This Position is going to be fun to watch...I think I am more excited to see who fills these spots than I am the QB spot....with players like Fisher, Holt, Lawrence and many others...I dont have a clue...Maybe Damon Benning is right... SLB: #25 Kyler Reed, 6-3, 220, RFr., Shawnee, Kan. MLB: #52 Phillip Dillard, 6-1, 235, Sr., Tulsa, Okla. or #51 Will Compton, 6-2, 230, RFr., Bonne Terre, Mo. WLB: #45 Alonzo Whaley, 6-1, 225, RFr., Madisonville, Texas Wow with all the possibilites in the Secondary this should get interesting this season...I dont know who will take these spots...theres to many players to list.... LCB: #14 Anthony Blue, 5-10, 180, So., Cedar Hill, Texas or #28 Eric Hagg, 6-1, 200, Jr., Peoria, Ariz. SS: #4 Larry Asante, 6-1, 210, Sr., Alexandria, Va. or #13 P.J. Smith 6-2, 205, RFr., River Ridge, La. or #2 Major Culbert, 6-0, 205, Sr., Harbor City, Calif. FS: #3 Rickey Thenarse, 6-0, 195, Sr., Los Angeles, Calif. or #12 Courtney Osborne, 6-3, 175, RFr., Garland, Texas RCB: #6 Anthony West, 6-0, 200, Jr., San Diego, Calif. or #21 Prince Amukamara, 6-1, 195, Jr., Glendale, Ariz. I'm pumped lets start the season right now!!! GO BIG RED!!!!

    Top 25

We still dont know who all is going Pro but I'll give it a try 1. Florida 2. Texas 3. USC 4. Oklahoma 5. Alabama 6. Virgina Tech 7. LSU 8. Ohio St 9. Oklahoma St 10 California 11. Georgia Tech 12. Ole Miss 13. Boise St 14. Penn St 15. Utah 16. Florida St 17. Georgia 18. Oregon 19. Texas Tech 20. Kansas 21. Iowa 22. Nebraska 23. North Carolina 24. Miami 25. Oregon St others: Pitt, BYU, Notre Dame, South Florida, Clemson, Arkansas, Tenn, Northwestern
  4. One of my favorite players to watch was Terrell Farley...That Dude could ball
  5. Im happy with a Win but In my opinion we gave them there points...But Ill also give Clemson some credit on D too they played hard...Why we ran that option play when Ganz was limping around I have no idea
  6. I know its not over but Boy USC is at it again...When will they learn to take the Big 10 out of the Rose Bowl? Its another stomping ....31-7 at Half
  7. I could see us sneak into the Top 25...With 9 wins and loses to #19VT, #8Tech, #23Mizz and #1OU how do you not end in the final Top 25
  8. Im sure some know this but the fastest way in my opinion to turn around any program is to go after all these RBs...Redshit these kids, teach them how to takle...So if I were a coach at the D1 level I would recruit RBs to play DBs and S... I would recuit S as LB..Most S come in around 200lbs so redshit/put on weight and u have LBs that can cover and tackle...Then go get 2 smaller DE that can rush the edge...with 2 Big Boys that can clog the middle....What Im sayin is if you look at most of the D1 Players that are Steller LB, S, CB they were all RBs in High School...Why? because every High School coach puts his best athlete at RB...obviously some RBs want to play RB in college but when its all said and done most want to go pro no matter what position
