Refs itching to call penalties against us. And because of that, every time I hear a whistle I think it’s a penalty call against us.

We need to draw up a play for Austin Allen. Call it the rebound. Put him out wide and far and have 2AM throw a jump ball to the back of the end zone. Not a fade…like an actual jump shot or pop fly in baseball

On Thomas’s defense, they don’t practice that in practice and that’s probably his first time getting a sack. So he wanted to make sure the dude went down

Disclaimer: Kinda emotional post: Mojo, karma, luck or whatever makes it feel like we’re just destined to lose. We have the potential to be so much better with who we already have on the team, but can’t make ‘The’ play. 2 lame duck passes should have been INTs weren’t. One almost great play by Braxton, but couldn’t pull it in. And we just make it worse because Penalties all over the place on the most successful drives that we have or occur at the start of a drive. Refs don’t catch all of them, but it sure feels like they catch them when we do something. Where are the calls on the other team when they score on us? lol I’m waiting for plays like Frost to Davison to win the game vs Mizzou. A play like that never happens for us now. I don’t think that’s due to coaching or talent.

Result won’t be what we hoped for but gives me hope. a couple of those possible Int’s get caught and it’s a different ball game. We don’t ever catch(or should I say create?) those breaks like we used to.

So I know that OU isn’t killing us and that’s the big news, but man…. the halftime show was only about how OU can win the National championship!

I learned that we have a spectacular way of losing games we should have won. And do it so consistently . And you can’t pin it on one person all the time. 2AM had huge mistakes, but there were the Extra points, catching a punt inside the 2, taunting after a personal foul, holding penalties, another high, bad snap, missed tackles… I’m tired of it. It’s like teasing us every game with what could have been, but we lose every time. mistakes like the above point to coaching.

If we had Sitkowski instead of 2AM we’d be winning. That’s hard to really accept and comprehend.

Defense accepting the loss. Hard to keep fighting when your own offense and special teams betray you.
