  1. You base your thought off one picture? I suggest you go watch the show on CSTV and tell me he looks even remotely as 'thick' compared to that picture. No knock on him, but he isn't as well built as has been led on in this thread. So again I suggest you quit trying to state opinion before fact.
  2. Pssshaw.....515lbs.? What a wuss! I'm still amazed at Larry Allen benching 705lbs. and squatting over 900lbs.? GEEZ! I remember watching video of that thinking the bar was going to snap in half.
  3. Clayborn lists Nebraska as his leader over a host of others.
  4. SiC, that is why it is called a max rep. Most of the time a max rep is done only once during a session (or day) and is done somewhere towards the end of your session. A max rep is not done to build mass, but basically to show where you are at with your strength. The reason for it being a max rep is to show the maximum weight you can lift, period. Again I say, go anywhere, ask any weighlifter, look it up anywhere and find the same I am telling you. You seem to be the one on the different page from anyone else.
  5. Anyone watched the Elite 11 Camp show on CSTV? Again I will say, Freeman still looks slight for his frame.
  6. I still cannot fault Zac Taylor after this game. If you a big component of stats, then yes, I'm sure you will put the burden on his shoulders. Or even if you look at how he holds onto the ball, you will put fault on him. But may I ask you how many times our WR's got seperation from DB's to give Zac that inch of daylight to throw the ball into? I saw maybe twice all game. Once he overthrew Nunn on a post pattern thanks to a nice bump from the CB, the other he delivered the ball late to Hardy. All I saw from the WR's is patterns being cut off, WR and TE's both taking forever to get in and out of their breaks, continuely looking back for the ball instead of running their pattern. Get in/out of your break then find the ball, it's very simple. The WR's and TE's in this offense are HORRID and Zac is taking so much blame it isn't even funny. These WR's have not made much transition and the offense is failing miserably thanks to their ineptitude.
  7. SiC, completely wrong. Don't know where you have heard a max total is from 5 lifts, but a max is from ONE lift. Doing 5 would be considered doing reps. If you do not believe me, look it up or ask any weightlifter you may know. Very misinformed here. BTW, Major Culbert (CB prospect from CA) is at a 285lbs. bench max, FWIW.
  8. He said nothing about benching 245lbs. 5 times. His max (meaning the most he can lift one time) is 245lbs. which is awful. His squat isn't that bad meaning his has strong hips and legs. For comparison, Tim Tebow benched 185lbs. over 35 times. You do the math.
  9. He must really love Oklahoma to have them listed twice in his favorites.
  10. Well you do understand putting that much weight on a lineman will make him considerably slower, correct? Clayborn isn't exactly ripped, (although Eric believes he is a brute for benching 245lbs. LOL).
  11. ^^^^^^ Which shows how bad Thomas has been. If a guy who has only been cleared for a week is already taking snaps for you, you should honestly think more about a more constructive sport. Say tiddly winks?
  12. So you would switch Clayborn, just for the sake of the offensive line? He would have to pack on anywhere from 35pds-50pds of weight just to play the line at his small 6'3 frame. You do understand that not everyone has the body type to carry that type of weight, correct? The recruiting process is a long haul. Feburary is a long time away and we will get our share of prospects. Don't fret and jump off the bridge as you are already doing.
  13. Just by comparison, the largest big screen in the entire world is at Turner Field in Atlanta (home of the Atlanta Braves.) The boards is 72 ft. x 80 ft. and I must say, it is incredible the first time you see it. The board comes in HD and is a great site for visitors coming into town. But although I must say, after the first time, you almost forget it is there to be honest.
  14. Big weekend to find out where we really stand with Bradford. Some have speculated that UCLA may be the big hurdle in getting Bradford, so I guess we'll see. If his parents and Allen himself come back with an 8 or 9 for a rating, I may feel a little more optimistic. Here's to hoping that UCLA fans are almost silent and he doesn't like the atmosphere and campus as much as Nebraska.
  15. He implied that it was Ricky's intent to commit to the Huskers if all went well on the trip this weekend. The coach talked him out of that and now has him thinking he should take all 5 visits instead.
  16. Nixon's visit was scheduled to be last weekend, but couldn't make it up due to money problems. He is however trying to schedule his visit for this weekend. He stated himself he was calling coaches on Wednesday (yesterday) to set it up. So I don't see how he can cancel a visit he possibly hasn't set up yet. http://nebraska.scout.com/2/435298.html
  17. He's trying to come this weekend on an official with teammate Bruce Campbell. It's part of a free article over at BRR.
  18. It's been known for a couple months now that a visit would seal the deal for Thernase as he said so himself on a many of occasions.
  19. I thought you had tucked your head between your legs and ran off, NH? Come back yet again to enlighten us with your, 'inside info'? Where does that 'inside info' come from again? Your head? Or is it that you are a super-secret CIA operative working deep undercover in the plains of Nebraska and are not allowed to tell anything about yourself for fear of banishment? You're still the same one-trick pony. What exactly you get from being a poser on the internet just bumfuzzles me completely.
  20. LOL BGuru, after Ross' long run and fumble last night, during the fumble he shouted, "AND ROSS DROPS THE CHALUPA!" I literally was laying over laughing. I'm surprised when Rudd picked off the pass he didn't shout, "AND RUDD GRABS HIS CHALUPA AND RUNS FOR THE BORDER!"
  21. Commit #7 on the year. But he is commit numero uno from our big weekend. Welcome to the family, Mr. McNeill. You made a great decision!
  22. One commit from the weekend already. But it's a secret. Shhhh.....
