  1. Asking the wrong guy with that question.
  2. Oh, so it's like that, huh? Just have to go and lay down the c/b on me. Dems fighting words, my brotha. Lets take it to the hardtop!
  3. http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slug=ap-g...ov=ap&type=lgns I'm sure as some of you have read, Adidas and Reebok are combining their companies of sorts to compete with Nike. Since I'm not up on the sponsorship of Adidas and UNL, as well as anything to do with business, I'm wondering how this affects universities as well as pro athletes who have endorsements deals with these two companies?
  4. Funny that the same day you ask this, HI posts an article stating that Rodney IS qualified.
  5. If I were racking in the money just following Nebraska football recruits, I'd try and do the same. What better job could their be? Hang out with Nebraska football players, interview Nebraska recruits and get paid for it? Geez!
  6. LOL Not towards you, Spartness.
  7. Lots of taking out of context here. If I had actually been in bed by now, I might take time to refine some of it.
  8. The info is available on HI if you have a subscription. Unfortunately, the info hasn't leaked yet about the guys name. But their is a picture of the guy, and he is one big guy!
  9. Stealing info from BHF, but it seems the guy may be former South Carolina recruit, Josh Winchell. Winchell was once recruited by Solich. http://www.nebraska.rivals.com/viewprospec...sp?pr_key=17137 The guy certainly has the look of a mean, nasty lineman. Also, Pillen, the guy your referring to is listed as a OLB, but will more than likely be a safety. His name is David Pickard and at Roswell has put up amazing stats. 2004: 170 tackles, 12 sacks, 22 TFL (tackles for loss), 7 FR (fumble recovery) As you can tell, the guy is just a straight football player. http://www.nebraska.rivals.com/viewprospec...sp?pr_key=41124
  10. No matter if Lorenzen was a lineman at QB or not, he had one of the strongest arms for a QB I have EVER seen. But yes, Freeman does need to fill out his frame. At 6'6 he is VERY slender and then his durability will become a question after taking hits. He's a tall guy, but he needs some weight to that frame. As you said, a solid 245-255 and the kid would be a monster. And please no one bring up Daunte Culpepper in the same sentence as Freeman. I know you didn't compare Freeman to Culpepper, but I have seen that ALOT on other boards and the comparison is nowhere close. Culpepper is like an ultra-quick defensive lineman playing QB. Rocket arm, great accuracy, HUGE body and 4.5 speed. While Freeman may be good, he is nowhere close to that. Although I might be able to agree with the Byron Leftwich comparisions by some.
  11. Josh could blow out his knee and it wouldn't make a difference. He is in a situation where he likely takes a redshirt regardless of anything, so it would be 2 years before he saw the field. Plus, the training and rehab would do him good considering he needs to fill out that 6'6 frame. In any case, an example would be someone like Rocky Hinds. He blew out his knee during his senior year, but was still recruiting by BC and Pete Carroll. If you have talent, coaches will take chances on you. Plus, how would it look to other players that face the same situation everywhere? If you're willing to pull a scholly from one guy if he gets hurt, what will other recruits think if the same unfortunate fate happens to them? Recruits will look at that and definetely frown upon it.
  12. Strike up another one for Miles, Pelini and the Bayou Bengals.
  13. Yes you are. I mean the turf....yeah....the turf.
  14. Are you kidding? He got into an actual verbal argument with Josh about him cheating and it was on video? I take it this is premium video off Rivals or is it free to watch?
  15. The most accurate QB of the best-of-the-best QB's in the US? An accurate QB in the WCO? Works for me. You don't need the big, strong armed guys to make this offense work (i.e., Jeff Garcia and Joe Montana), although a bit more zip on those out patters never hurt.
  16. Have to agree with Nameless on his last post. I mean, Wright is a 4-star athlete, and when you can get teammates to talk about the same school, especially 4 and 5 star guys, it can only help. And no, Harvey didn't get a scholly thanks to AJ Wallace being his teammate. On-lookers raved about Harvey as did the coaches. Prater was seen as a big-headed malcontent who didn't want to camp at Nebraska but still thought he was worthy of an offer. The coaches just never thought highly of Prater.
  17. Edge of committing? Uh...what? We backed off Bright in the early fall last year when it came out about all the grade problems, on and off field issues he was having, etc., We were never close to landing this guy. Powe was the same. Powe was a HEAVY Auburn lean, even though we were the favorite during his junior year. When no one thought he could get in academically, everyone backed off....including Auburn. Thus LSU grabbed his commit in hopes he would make it. We were never close on either.
  18. Mmmkay....we win the Big 12 North, go to the Big 12 Championship and show signs of progress but we give Cally the boot? I love when people use logic.
  19. Just an FYI, Roz usually stretches the truth a bit when he goes on radio. I can remember last year when he proclaimed Callahan Bright and Jerrell Powe among others I'm forgetting would be at NU. Great insider for NU recruiting, but I believe he uses the radio show to get more subscriptions to HI, honestly. Can't say I blame him either.
  20. If Eugene Monroe (#2 player in last years class) had committed to Nebraska, would anyone be talking about his 40 time? He ran it in the 5.5 range.
  21. Zero as of now. Committed to Fresno State.
  22. Nameless, I will tell you what I said in the Woodshed. You must think very lowely of everyone on this board to believe that Scout.com would revamp it's whole board system thanks to your one site. Do you have any idea how much money, time and effort that would cause for everyone at that company? And yet you spout that off as if someone would actually believe it? Yes, I'm sure Scout.com is willing to do all that just because of one Nebraska Cornhusker board over the wide variety of boards Scout.com carries. That is so truely believable. It's a pathetic excuse to try and save your butt and face at the same time, sad thing is, you cannot pull the wool over everyones eyes.
  23. Nameless, I would hate to bring this board down with meaningless posts, but you are almost begging for it. Shall I go back to BHF and bring the mod's and admin's here and ask how many times I tried to pawn Lemming's knowledge off as my own? I was one of the few who wouldn't bring Lemming's posts over to any board, because of the fact they threatened to close the board if members kept doing it. In fact Nameless, I challenge you to find a post by me at BHF in which I stole material from USAPreps, or better yet, a mod or admin from that site which will back up those worthless claims. At the same time, should I go back and ask those same mod's and admin's how you almost brought their board down by being tied up in lawsuits from Scout and Rivals because of persistence in trying to pawn off copyrighted knowledge as your own? Or should I bring up how your board, where you claimed all info you had was found off the internet (and not thru copyrighted sites) and how it was locked down by EzBoard thanks to copyright infringement? http://p201.ezboard.com/bhuskertunnelwalk.lockedDown Pretty funny, eh? The pot calling the kettle black doesn't exactly work, now does it? Do not EVER point a finger at me, saying I was caught in stealing copyrighted knowledge. I was banned at BHF thanks to you, for calling you out in the same manner I am doing now, in the same type of post. At the time you were worshipped over there and were a mod, and could whine and cry and get your way. Too bad the same doesn't hold true today, since you were shown to be the fraud that you are. You can have blind followers who will believe in everything you say, as is being shown here, but soon enough, and especially if you stick around long enough, you will have Blackshirt and others being threatened with lawsuits if you do not stop posting copyrighted material. Even as much as you say you do not do it, two boards, and the same thing happening to both would make you think otherwise, eh? But to all the admin's and mod's here, I want to apologize already. I do not need to post like this on the board, but Nameless is one of the few people who can get under my skin on the internet. Such a poser, then to point the finger at me for his wrongdoings just severely ticks me off.
  24. OKC, you obviously do not know the history of Nameless and where his knowledge (or lack thereof) comes from. Anytime you want an informer class 101 on the guy, drop me a line and I'll be happy to fill you in. I'm sure you wouldn't be so quick to defend the guy anytime soon then.
