All the check with me system does is allow an offensive coaching staff to comunicate a weakness in the defense to the quarterback so that he can put the ball in the hands of the player who can do the most damage. The defensive coaches will be looking to anticipate what the weaknesses might be before the start of the play and shore those up. So its not going to be a situation where the offense sends in a check and the defense reacts to it. Call it sparing, but hardly revolutionary thinking. Reality is that football still comes down to the same few objectives. Block, tackle.

Cody should redshirt anyway. Maybe he could get a medical redshirt, then use his normally allowed redshirt and still have four years left when Zac Lee is done here.

Frank was arrested by an officer named Osborne. No need to look for irony. Frank's DUI was a sobering hit for a fan like me, but I also feel for the man. It had been about a year since he was run out of Lincoln, unfairly in my opinion. Frank is allowed to be a human and I am still a huge fan of his. This worries me a little. I was hoping for Kody Spano or Zac Lee to take the reigns. Lee sounded like a good bet, but Bo gave no vote of confidence to Lee. I know he is just trying to get the most out of all his players, but, at the same time, I worry. LaTravis Washington makes me think of Bernard Jackson from Colorado.

I think QC is a viable back whose potential has yet to be realized. QC needs to stop fumbling, but he is otherwise an electric player. See the Gator Bowl as proof. Roy is electric, but the combo of Roy and QC looks good to me.

The Texas schools would also seem more at home and share more of a history as a remade Southwest. i say BRING IT! you can then call the north the Big 8 Division and then call the south the South West Division. give put Oklahoma and Oklahoma State in the north and have TCU and Houston go south. and, oh yah, NEBRASKA PLAYS OKLAHOMA LAST GAME IN NOVEMBER AS GOD MEANT IT TO BE. i now yield the floor. sounds good. yep, this would be cool actually, lol. if the big 12 adds teams then it could consider getting rid of interconference play, or at least cut it to one game. the scheduling along with the champ game is really hurting the big 12 imo
