I totally agree, he is not going to Florida or anywhere else. Money is not the motivator for him. He comes here, or stays with UCF. I think those are the only players in the Scott Frost game.

I think most of us do, but can't see thru the Red Husker tinted goggles quite clearly. Some see it as a slam dunk, others listen to what Coach Frost has said. I know we are dealing with Coach Speak season. The fact that really no other candidate has been mentioned or supposedly interviewed, makes me lean towards he is coming (I think right now). We will know for sure in another week.

Looks like the UCF fans are doing their part to keep their coach. Stadium looks full and loud. Need Frosty to win this one. Makes the completion of his dream closer, may even complete it. Let's hope.

That truly is an interesting post. Maybe someone really close to the situation is telling us something.

The kid made mistakes, but I don't think he deserves to be attacked for what his father said. If he wants to come back to Nebraska and do the work required to be a top player, I certainly have no problems with it. But as someone else said the scolly may be gone with Coach Riley being gone.

Seeing the fan base come back together. What ever it takes to accomplish that. Makes everyone of us proud of our team, staff, on and off the field.

If Coach Frost goes to Florida or UCLA that hurts Nebraska pretty badly. If he stays at UCF, it says he is a man of his word. He has said he wants to finish things, and they may not be at this point. He has also stated you should never take the next until you're ready. I know the fan base would be destroyed if he didn't come home. But for me it depends on where he ends up. TN, Florida, UCLA would mean he felt he could not win at Nebraska, or the others would be an easier path. We need him to come home or stay at UCF.

NBC sports LA said that Chip Kelly met with UCLA today. I thought it was signed deal with Florida. I am not going to get to excited over internet postings about anyone signing or not signing. Still feel anything can happen in the next week to ten days. 8 years is a long contract, for a third year head coach. Hope we get it right this time, because if we don't we will have a huge buy out to deal with. Every thing you look at indicates Coach Frost will be able to do the job, and it appears the University will give him time. Only one way to find out.

Allowed? I would guess he can go anywhere he wants to at Oregon. Kind of like saying Coach Osborne was allowed in the same box at Nebraska. Oregon owes most of what it has to Knight. Personal opinion though.

The word out here is that UCLA is putting a heavy bid in for Coach Kelly. Troy Aikman (spelling) and another financial booster are involved. Was mentioned again last night on the 11PM NBC news. Thought I read somewhere that Coach Kelly's agent is a UCLA grad.

In honesty I don't read much of this. What ever the last page is when I open. Some were coming down on her pretty hard for doing exactly what they were doing, what we all are doing, trying to find out who the next coach is. Her posting reminded me of another poster, that has been banned.

I think I was one of the first to comment on your attitude. That is all that bothered me. You did seemed convinced in what you were saying. I think you have done yourself a terrible injustice by stating your husband got the information and you posted it. That may cause some strife down the road for you and your husband, especially if the information was not supposed to be shared. It makes little difference to me what anyone on this site says, including heralded New casters. Or lucky pass receiving radio hosts. None of them know until the contract is signed, and I am dead certain it has not been signed and actually doubt it is in print at this point. This a guess board, a guessing post that is supposed to keep the inmates entertained. It has done that, and you have added a lot to the site over the past two or three weeks. I don't think most were upset about the information, it was the way it was delivered. Sometimes when people are trying to hide an identity, they take on a completely different demeanor, I think that is what has happened. I think deep down, if you are honest, you were only trying to ease some of this for the vast majority. I will tend to think that way until proven wrong. You have a friend in Ladyhawke, and I think you owe her PM to explain further. She has defended you and taken some things that should not have been said. IMHO

Reported on CBS news at 11pm, the UCLA was talking to him, and Sumlin was in the running. He was second to Mora when he was hired.

ESPN hates every college football team, just ask their fans.. I asked that last night and BRI said there was a number of days per Nebraska law. Not sure he knew the exact amount, but it is a state job and some regulations about it.

They are going to be happy for him I think, but they are not going to be happy about it. They have been sold on, giving everything you have, having each others back, staying the course, all the typical coach speak. It appears they bought in. It will be hard for them, and if Coach Frost does return home, some of it is going to hurt him. I think he believes in these kids and wants the best for them. He is said to be very much like Coach Osborne. And I havea pretty good idea of how Coach Osborne would feel in this situation. He had a similar situation back in the day. He chose to stay with Nebraska, then turned down Michigan State due to loyalty. Saying that I really have no idea what is going to happen. Hope he comes to Nebraska, but would not be terribly surprised if he didn't.

I think Nebraska and Coach Frost are above this. Nothing is going to happen to break college football normal tradition. Being that it is a state job, doesn't it have to be listed for a period of days. If so that could not happen until after the current coach was fired? Just asking as I really do not know the legalities of state employment.

Really don't think it has much to do with Moos and his plan. I think Coach Frost will coach thru the CCG, if they make it, before he announces anything. Not saying it hasn't been worked out or it has, but he wants that championship for his kids is my guess. A lot of distraction already, that would amp it even more.

Harbaugh has another 10-3 with losses to Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State, he won't be around to establish a rivalry with who ever our coach is. He was hired to win those games.

I actually leave my office to check and see who is on the internet during working hours. Then I hit 4 or 5 automobile sites, then check on my money being wasted by internet thieves. lol I would guess some of your employers are wondering why performance has fallen this week. Today I have checked the thread more than usual, guess maybe 5 times. Knowing that it is a waste of time, because no one on this site is going to actually know anything before the CCG and even then it might be another month for the real truth to be out. I think if Coach Frost said no today it would be worse for him in the long run. Silence is golden in more ways than one. He may just be protecting you over the Holidays by being silent. If the big NO comes, what will most of you do? Are they installing nets under the over passes yet, 10 foot high fences along the Missouri and Platte?
