  1. Well this is disappointing. If anyone has any PM's they want to pass on, inquiring minds want to know.
  2. This is what bugs me the most. None of the official explanations, claiming that it was the right call, mention anything about the official time being kept on the field, not by ABC and their superimposed clock. Total hose job, as has been stated, if the tides were turned no way does Nebraska get that extra second. B.S. F-Texas. Roll Tide Roll
  3. Thanks! I'm here all week. Don't forget to tip your servers.
  4. HA! HA! I told my son in-law (not much of a football fan) to get ready for the Colt McCoy love fest. Towards the end of the half he said he wasn't hearing it. I told him it was because he was Suh's bitch.
  5. Did anyone hear that unprepared, drunken, washed up excuse for an announcer, say that Charlie McBride started the Blackshirt tradition? Dunce

    WOW

Go back and look at the collar of Suh's jersey. If the Big 12 refs knew how the hell to call a holding penalty Kansas wouldn't have scored sh#t. The tv crew we're talking about what a good job the Kansas oline was doing to hold Suh and Crick to just 5 tackles between them. All I could think was, at least they got the hold part right. Nonsense (sorry posted this in the wrong thread earlier)

  8. That is fine and all for the coaches and team to say and believe, but as a football fan, I will complain when I see officiating like I saw saturday, there should be some penalties thrown the way of the officials (haha!). The worst part is that some of it is possibly big-12 and ncaa issues. If all the questionable calls go our way, its at least two situations where Tech is trying for field goals with a less than stellar kicker. I would have to go back and rewatch the game to pick everything out because I can't remember if a couple of them were on seperate drives or not, but just those two alone would be enough to complain about, and it is a problem whether the game is 0-0 or 60-0. If refs are making terrible calls "our problems" actually has little to do with it. A bad call that changes the score is a bad call that changes the score. Exactly! How can anyone say that a call that extends a drive does not change the outcome of the game? Punt or Field Goal attempts vs. Touchdowns, yep no difference there. Defense on the field for three plays vs. the extended drive. How does this not effect the game? Was our offense bad? Hell yes it was, but when the officials are calling a one sided game it hurts both sides of the ball.
  9. No JOKE! I am just barely west of the Mississippi and I don't care. How many people outside of California or Washington even care? I would rather watch SEC than that crap they call the PAC 10. Oh well, I guess it will be ESPN360 for me, luckily Suddenlink just added the feature to our programming. I don't know yet about Gameplan, but they did not offer if last year. Amazing isn't it, a cable provider not offering ESPN Gameplan.
  10. Why the hell are they showing a PAC 10 game in Jonesboro, AR? Hell Arkansas at all. I am in Jonesboro, which is in north east Arkansas, less than 30 minutes from Missouri. We are near Big 12, SEC, and ACC country. What is the deal with the PAC 10? They did the same thing last year. This is supposed to have been a split national telecast, how the hell did USC get in the middle of it?
  11. We lost a safety and one of our 'more experienced' o-lineman (guard). We're deep at safety, but our linemen are young. With that in mind.....who lines up on the right side of your defense on the interior.....Suh? Fanof, Were are you from? I live in Bono.
  12. Arkahusker, what up? I live close to Searcy. Nice to have you aboard. ASU will be a tougher opponent that FAU. I ahve seen several of thise Red Wolves kids play in HS and they were very good atheletes. Lets not forget that ASU is not afraid to take it ot a BCS team. I think in the end that talent and depth take over and the Huskers roll. Pour me another glass of Peliniaid with a dash of freshmen kool aid!! They definitely aren't afraid to take on a BCS team, but just how impressive was their win against Texas A&M last year? A&M proved to be a fairly poor team. ASU ended up going to Alabama later in the year and getting blown out 35-0. Definitely not saying I think ASU is a bad team, and I do think they'll play us tougher than FAU did, but I expect the game to go similarly as it did with FAU. Take a look at their 2007 game at Texas. A-State beat them selves. They will be tough. If the Huskers don't put them away, they will gain confidence, continue to play hard, and hang around.
  13. I know i am a new guy, but does anyone want to talk about Arkansas State? I live in Jonesboro, and I have to say Corey Leonard and Reggie Arnold are the real deal. They also have a tightend that should make our coaches take notice. On defense they have a pretty good secondary, but look out for that Carrington kid at DE. He will make the NFL. They were 6 and 6 last year, and were snubbed by the bowls eventhough they beat FAU. They dropped two games they should not have lost, one being FIU, they lost on a broken play last second touchdown. I really believe this is a better team than the Huskers played today. Steve Roberts is a quality coach, and his team believes. Discussion?
  14. Please Please if anyone finds it send a PM. I am stuck in Arkansas with no chance to view.
