I do not know whether or not Jim Tressel will be Nebraska's head coach. What I do know is that if it is Tressel, he wouldn't be telling a douchebag like Dustin Fox prior to the official announcement.

Blessed2bahusker - you're completely wrong about Tressel's seat getting warm prior to the tattoo parlor scandal. 2006 & 2007 - national championship appearances. 2008 - finished 10-3...competitive loss to a 12-1 Texas in a BCS bowl (Texas scored the winning TD in the final 30 seconds). 2009 11-2 Rose Bowl victory over Oregon. 2010 12-1 Fiesta Bowl victory over Arkansas. I seriously doubt his seat was getting warm (at least for his on the field results)

The nepotism was intolerable. Tim Beck should have been fired after 2013 (should have never been hired as OC IMO). But he was retained because him & Bo are buddies. Tommy Armstrong should gave been pulled at some point against Wisconsin but wasn't...because once Bo decides on a starting QB...open competition at that position, it seems, gets flushed down the toilet regardless of on the field performance

I would be a a bit unhappy but accepting had Nebraska at least put up a competitive showing in MOST of those games

I don't care about the sideline behavior. Nebraska got humiliated almost every time we played a top 25 team these past few years.

BIGREDinSD - This has nothing to do with me wanting a statement. Fact is opposing coaches will use negative recruiting against us...not issueing a statement gives them the ammo to do so (given the amount of speculation regarding Bo's current job security). So its in the football teams best interest for the AD to issue a statement of support for the head coach, IF he 100% intends to retain him
