He had that problem at linebacker too early in the year, he would take on the leadblocker and sometimes obliterate him but he would never come off and make the tackle and no one was there in support. I’m not sure he knows how to finish plays (see his suspension block where he celebrates before it’s over). Guess that’s the mental development he’s working on! from what ive seen of him, the guys all brute force. meaning special teams and DE on passing situations, where he doesnt have to think as much, should be his specialty. if he ever gets a bead on a QB, fire up the ambulance. Oh yeah, I expect a lot of roughing the passer calls on him too haha

You know with our training facilities and coaches that we will get him to where he needs to be. I say by the time fall camp roles around he is up to 200 pounds easy. And I think we will either redshirt or greyshirt him(depending on how the rest of our class turns out), and by 2012 spring practice he is exactly where the coaches want him as far as his physical frame. I personally fear what Thomas can do against what we have, a weak run defense. Steinkuhler and Crick have not impressed me at all this year....well the whole D-line to be honest. I look for Thomas to have a big game and at least 2 TDs unless that front steps up and gets after it. I also think that Kendall Hunter will be a handful this year.

In response to Davidsons comment. The fact that the second team isn't on the field getting snaps proves that our offense is more so in the need of getting snaps.
