  1. Lucky has the greatest grasp of the playbook and blocking assignments according to Randy Jordan, not BJax. Lucky will start.
  2. Look, my source is going to remain anonymous unless someone wants me to pm them, because my source doesnt want his name thrown around on the net, but I talked to someone VERY close to the team and the coaching staff, and he said they really dont know who is going to start, and that all of this talk about there being little to no seperation amongst the backs is not media bs to protect feelings, but is a general consensus between Callahan, Jordan, and Norvell. They really are going to go with a commitee approach until someone seperates himself during the games, regardless of who starts.
  3. Davis is pretty good too, not sure if Flynn graduated, but I would take them on my team as well. Hicks is overrated for sure. He is three yards and a cloud of dust, but their oline is experienced and pretty decent. They can put up points.
  4. Green and Shanle at safety.... they usually hand out an extra one or two as well. Maybe Ruud....
  5. If Carpenter struggles this year even romotely, and Keller plays well next year, this is going to cost Koetter his job
  6. goodman.... never played for us, but the wrestling team was sad to lose him
  7. I appreciate your efforts hootin, but i think ill just keep the who the hell cares caption in there. I think this guy has proven he can play, regardless of how long it takes him to run 40 yards.
  8. I'm sorry, I just had to do it. And the competition will force both contenders to be better QBs next year! sorry, couldnt resist
  9. Keller has to sit a year out per NCAA mandates
  10. THE WORDS ARE FROM HIS OWN MOUTH, HE IS COMING HERE!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE BIGGEST THING TO HAPPEN TO HUSKER FOOTBALL SINCE CALLAHAN WAS HIRED!!!!!!!!
  11. 20 tds to 9 picks is pretty good, especially considering over half his picks came against one team... He put up better numbers than Taylor did in only 7 games. Ill take that kind of production.
  12. If you had read the newspaper, or my prior post, you would know that Randy Jordan has told reporters that Lucky actually has the greatest grasp of the playbook and of blocking schemes, more so than even Bjax, who has been in the system longer.
  13. Hildebrand is listed here, and since Keller has to redshirt, he actually makes more sense here than hildebrand does.
  14. I just got out of a class room, where is my collective exhale of relief???
  15. Its pretty easy to blow someone up when he isnt looking...
  16. Just wanted to get a recruit thread started on the most prolific recruit of this class!!!!
  17. Breaking news... per Sean Callahan, a crate of deadly snakes has been let loose on the plane that Sam "the man" Keller is set to arrive on. Reports are filtering back in that Keller is accompianied by his father, his mother, and an ornary middle aged black man who seems to only speak in loud tones. We are now hearing that it is none other than Samuel "snake crusher" Jackson. We will get back to you with more news as it arrives.
  18. whatever... when he hits 12'6'' tall, just have him stand infront of the goal posts and block kicks... We can find a way to use him
  19. I think Samuel Jackson in on the plane with him.... he keeps shouting something about snakes... dont know whats that about.... wait, we have a sound byte.. camera pans over to plane... "I've had enough of thesemotherf'ng snakes on themotherf'ng plane!!!!"
  20. Lucky will start.... Jordan has acknowledged that he has the best understanding of the play book for right now, and that will get him the nod. Nunn and Swift will be the starters for the first game... Too much experience for a newcomer to knock either out of the starting role for the first game. Herian will start... He is back to full speed. Other TE's arent that good MeKeon, Octavien, Bradley will start... Dillard will get significant PT, but you dont not start a returining middle linebacker who set the school record for Tackles for a loss. Dillard may indeed be more talented, but McKeon also marshalls the defense very well and is a big reason why others have the opportunity to make plays.
  21. Good.... I dont want respect. I want every single warrior heading into that stadium next Saturday to see Mark May's flabbing jaw talking about how we have no chance against USC and Texas, or to see a vision of a certain Kansas City reporter who posted a top twenty five that included Michigan, but not us. You arent given respect, you take it, and I want our guys to know that.
