i always get a slurpy on friday at lunch, usually cherry, but the one week i got a coke one neb lost vs. texas tech... lets just say, its always cherry now

i read a threat at one of the boards... i cant remember which one exactly... that they just went on and on about how nebraska fans always show them up wen they play in columbia... they just deal w/ it... dont even try to fill it w/ as much tiger fans as possible. sad just sad

1. OU- just cause their down, doesnt mean they will give up 2. CU- look good at home 3. KU- interesting game 4. MIZZOU- smith is their team.. stop him, win the game 5. KSU- have trouble against this team last year... that will end

i was readin some mizzou message board material and they were all upset about how every other year nebraska comes in and embarasses them w/ all the people they bring and how they are very organized and get tickets ahead of time and everything... keep it up this weekend every1

i can not stand bill snyder or phil fulmer... but i do now have a new found respect for john l smith of mich st. the fact that he could tell wat he felt at that halftime interview bout his coaches really showed the fire and the will to win

people down here at wvu take that "town on fire thing pretty seriously" i hope it never turns out like that up there

matt leinart doesnt have a pass td in 2 games this year and he is still number 1... ill give it to him, he is a #1 draft pick but that doesnt mean he is the best college player

oakland is in shambles... sucks too, randy moss got knee'd in the junk as well. just adds to the frustration. norv turner is a good coach imo its sad ahman doesnt get as many touches as he used to... i hate sherman... i think green is in his last year of his contract if i am right??? i am not sure though. maybe he will go to a team that will use him.

i am biased towards wvu alil... but i really think that wat he has done with the recruits that he gets and the fact that the facilites arent all that great and that the school is in the middle of nowhere kinda is amazing... plus that comeback against louisville was amazing he completely outcoached petrino in the second half

i bet if ne1 from tech gets a vote for heisman it will be leach... everyone loves him, and his weird acts and volatile offensive system

got to love wat he is doin this year with the players he has... covering up the weakness to the best of his ability... good work and keep it up coz!

callahan is doing a great job, but i am have a couple of candidates... rich rodriguez, wv... does more with less than any coach in college football consistently karl dorrell, ucla... quietly sneeking up on usc in the pac 10... doing everything right frank beamer, vt... he deserved it last year more than anyone imo... he has high expectations and has stuck with what he believes... good d and special teams a few others i have thought about as well... belotti- oregon, o'brien- bc, joe pa- psu, alvarez- wisconsin, shula- bama, carroll- usc, brown- texas

well cotton bowl may be impossible for the huskers unless somehow texas tech loses 2 big 12 games and the huskers and the longhorns are the only team w/ only 1 and no loses in conference... then nebraska would have to get the cotton bowl

for right now... i agree with that, but as the season goes on... i want the cotton bowl!!!!
