Longtime offensive coach at Boise State under Hawkins and Petersen, OC at Texas for a couple seasons, took over Arkie State and led them to a bowl, and seems to be keeping Boise on track in his first year as HC taking over for Petersen. His salary is $1 million and buyout is $2 mil. Like I said, though, I don't really see him chasing the money to leave Boise. Plus friends in Boise would never talk to me again if we hired him away.

When we would get blown-out in his fist couple seasons, Bo would have emotional post-game pressers where he would say "This is not Nebraska football. This should not happen here. Ever. We're going to fix it." He doesn't say that anymore. He's come to accept it's going to happen 2 or 3 times a season. So have the remainder of his supporters, sadly. "It's still better than Callahan." I don't understand the fear of change. The Pedersen-Callahan years were a perfect storm of bad decisions. They're gone and lessons were learned. Bo just released a public apology after talking with Eichorst and Perlman. If he were about to get the axe I think they would all be very quiet right now. I don't think Bo is going anywhere. Yet.

I don't think Eichorst and Harvey are going to fire Bo. I have a feeling they are going-over options to make the University not appear weak or tolerant of Bo's behavior. I do think, however, Bo is looking at a suspension of one or more games. Just a gut feeling.
