I don't know. I live in cedar rapids about 30 north of iowa city or as some people call it iowa sh**ty. A matter of fact my boss is a husker fan and lives in north liberty just outside of ic. What you have to do is just rub in all of the great times nebraska football has had and the lack there of of there great history. Also hawkeye fans think they are the greatest thing ever and there is nothing else in the world. And trust me being able to watch the huskers in big ten country is impossible. There is a bar in cedar rapids called beef o bradys that shows all of the husker games the owner is from nebraska. It does televise hawkeye games also so if the hawkeyes play at 11 and we play at 2:30 good luck because you won't find a seat because of the hawk fans. It sucks but just rub it in about our great history. Also i took some greef after we lost to iowa state but as i recall i don't believe iowa has beaten iowa state 33 straight years at home either. Agree doc isn't the problem he is starting to get the recuits. Stanhardingler is going to be good if not great he has great potential except doc doesn't like his defence. When doc came in about everyone on the team either left the team or transfered, so he had to start from scratch. Also this year two pretty good players had there seasons ended early due to injuries. Nieeman, and mcCray both would have contributed quite a bit and helped with some more size down low that doc for some reason doesn't use. Despite finally having the size doc only uses diaz as the only big guy that starts you have the size use it doc. I do think doc is the right person for the job it's just going to take a matter of time until he gets the recuits and players for his program. You could see last year despite having the shortest team in the country there were able to compete with about everyone they played. And doc like defence and defence wins games, like football sound famillar.

Nice win that is a nice reward for all of the guys busting their butts in practice. Tough 5 game strech all against road teams. There is still hope for at least a .500 record in conference play.

holy crap! who ever does ISU football scheduling needs a Not to mention that the big 12 screwed isu over in there big 12 schedule. They play both oklahoma, and texas and if you thought that was bad enough they play them in back to back weeks both on the road.

I live in Iowa in the heart of big 10 country and get sick of hearing about the almight big 10, and how great Iowa did this year...went 11-2 and probably were a half dozen plays from being a 7-8 win team...in the big 10. I would love to see us play them and show them how real defence is played and what playing in a real conference is all about. I do believe that we played iowa in the late 90's and i do believe that those years Iowa would have played isu those years because the big 12 had formed by then.

2010 is a new decade and the new 1990's. It's going to be a good decade. Pelini will bring us back to national prominance.

I dont really get excited unless they go over 1500. When healthy Helu is good for 100+ a game. Maybe next year he can rip off 1500+. And WIN THE HEISHMAN! What suh should win this year but won't because the heishman because it has become so political.

Nebraska 35 Baylor 0 Passing 150 Rushing 250 Our defence play like it always does and maybe scores some points for the offence which this week finally gets going. Lee get out of his slump and proves to us where the coaches have been saying all spring how good he can be. In addition the offence playes some good ole fashion smashmouth Nebraska football running the ball up the defences throte and run like nebraska should do. Play great gives us some momentom going into the oklahoma game in which bo will pick up his first signature win and everyone will forget about the last two weeks.

This season is reminding me a lot of 2007 except this year we have a defence and our offence is just terrible just the opposite of 2007. IMO. Well see but I don't believe this season will turn out the way 07 did because bo has control over the players unlike what callahan didn't have in 07. I think were are on the way up one bo get's his recuits on the field we will see the diffence and nebraska fan's wont be hating they will be enjoying how were playing and forgetting about this hasn't even happened 2-3 years down the road. Watching the Nebraska-oklahoma game in 2001 and watch eric crouch and the huskers come from behind and win with the amazing play by the huskers.
