  1. We're #7. Championship isn't AS far out as it seemed.
  2. Probably cause we owned the Tigers for such a long stretch at one point. I would honestly love to know how many people learned of the bell because of NCAA Football on PlayStation or XBox? Seriously I have a lot of friends that never knew the thing exosted until the video game. Anyone one on here that can admit to this being the same way they found out about the bell? I'll admit to it.
  3. The band always wears white. White uniforms with red and gold sashes. It's a clean look.
  4. As long as we only turn it over 7 times, we're good.
  5. You mean Jeannine Edwards. Does it matter which reporter it is? Where are their bikinis?
  6. Where can I check my warning level? I want to take a screenshot to document my upwardly modifying warning level. In before the lock and/or banhammer.
  7. I don't remember exactly what I said, but I believe it was something along the lines of "you can be a dick if you want to..." which is not the same as saying "hey, buddy, you're a dick."
  8. If they screwed us, then they'd get As every time.
  9. Maybe you should step down from your mod power-trip and stop editing people's posts. If you think about it, accusing me of making a personal attack, after saying that you aren't sure what's going on in the thread, is a personal attack, is it not? I guess this will get edited too as it is a bit of an attack.
  10. Franklin was the one who wanted Asante put to death last year for hits that also were clean.
  11. I think we should claim all of our MNCs. We'd have 12 or 13 or something like that. Or since they're mythical, just claim 1000.
  12. didnt OU beat texas? We didn't lose to them either Yeah I'm pretty sure our only loss was October 16 @ Nebraska. that's a wonderful justification for us being ranked higher. Be a dick if you want, but it actually is a justification. Texas wasn't better than us that day, which means no opponent has been better than us this season. MOD EDIT - Not sure what's going on here, but what I took out could be construed as a personal attack, which is clearly against the rules. Please discuss the issue, not the person. knapplc SECOND EDIT - put back the original wording, in case there's a question. knapplc

  14. didnt OU beat texas? Didn't we beat Texas if you really look at it?
  15. Had we not been screwed in the polls last week, we'd be in a better spot this week, but that's typical pollster garbage. We can still do it, but really the alternative isn't bad. We will almost surely get a BCS game.
  16. Well, being in the top ten in the coaches wont hurt. Harris has us 11. I cant believe (actually I can, sadly) we're still behind Oklahoma after we handled a common opponent to whom they lost. Typical crap.
  17. Were you shocked that he was chosen or shocked that he was "co-"? I lean more towards the latter.
  18. He also has an INT that he wanted to take back to the house so bad. He made some good moves, but the highlight stick doesn't work as well at 300 pounds.
  19. He seems to be bitter, but understandably so after the loss. I don't know if it's anything to freak about. And is his name seriously Barfnecht?
  20. I was about to say that I didn't see the classlessness, but then I got to number 5 on his list. Intending to injure? Please. We had the game won, why would we take out their QB? Because our players are evil? Whatever, let tools be tools. His horrendous grammar and spelling speak volumes. Let's not apply this to all Mizzou fans.
  21. Watch the film, he hit Taylor with his shoulder. he went for Taylor's knees ... a hit intended to injure the QB and it worked. You cannot be serious. A defender can tackle wherever the hell he wants (except the head). He is a running QB and was running on the play like a RB. Not with rules the way they are now. Running QBs are not protected the was passing QBs are and that's not fair. The reason they aren't like running backs is because they also run the offense and throw the ball. They just have a greater importance to the team in the long run. Look at it this way: Martinez is gone for the season due to an injury or Helu is done for the season due to an injury (I know today is not a great day to use the Helu example), which hurts us worse? Lee is an experienced backup, but he's an inconsistent passer and isn't the run threat that Martinez is (although he isn't molasses like dumb and dumber were saying in the booth). Helu is a beast, but Burkhead is a solid replacement.
  22. Yeah just ignore that hater(s). That link shows that not all Tiger fans feel that way. I also loved the idiot who posted "Taylor Martinez has a glass leg. Overrated!" and I was pissed, but then I saw the "nm".
  23. It's because we rolled through a bunch of mediocre teams pre-Texas. Texas exposed our offense for what it was and forced us to make changes. Okie State exposed our defense for what it was and forced us to make changes. Missouri feels like the first complete game we've played where we played well on both sides of the ball in the same game against a quality opponent. Hasn't really happened up till now. Now the question is if we can keep it up. The problem is not that we have one loss; it's that so many teams ahead of us will either be undefeated or will have a less-ugly loss to their credit. Texas stuck the knife in by winning that game and is proceeding to twist it around by blowing @$$ every week since then. And they haven't even played Texas A&M or Okie State yet. And talk about problems playing at home! Texas has lost their last three home games to UCLA, Iowa State, and Baylor. Yeesh! Texas didn't expose our offense, they showed how to defend our run and get raped by our passing attack. We just dropped the ball. Leaving receivers open and letting them drop the ball isn't good defense. If we didn't brainfart that was a 34-20 win at least. Also, there is a difference between the #1 ranked team and the best team. Remember, we're behind Boise State and TCU. Neither are the best team in the nation, but they're ranked high on the basis of "they could beat any team on any day" which is ridiculous. We lost our game in a stretch of games including Texas, Okie State, and Missouri, all tougher than any team the non-AQs play all year. Those teams do not belong in front of us, which is why the rankings are not a good measure of how good a team is, so in that case, I am perfectly justified in debating that Nebraska is the best team in the country.
