  1. I've been playing it for over a year now and don't check it nearly as much anymore. Had my own team for awhile, but it took up way too much time.
  2. You do bring up a good example. I agree with the Holiday Bowl idea too. And knowing our quarterback, it won't take long for the incompletion to happen. Fixed
  3. Wow. Kimbo looked good on the ground and especially with his slam takedowns. Houston Alexander looked like it was his first UFC fight, no Kimbo's. I think it might be time for Houston to reconsider his UFC career, not sure he has what it takes to keep up. Kimbo looks to be on the rise though.
  4. I actually have some respect for Kimbo. A very laid back kind of guy from what I've seen on the Ultimate Fighter.
  5. I can definitely see that happening. No reason for Houston to take a step back here with this fight. Just get the win by TKO like you should.
  6. A power back like him will not have a very good season if they don't have any talent around him.
  7. Honestly, how do you go back and explain yourself in the huddle..let alone to the coach.
  8. So I guess the board isn't quite done with the cody green nonsense posts.....
  9. I have a bet with a friend that Suh will go number 1 overall. Asante has a chance to shoot up the draft boards with a good combine and I think he will. It will be interesting to see where Barry Turner grades out. I can see him being taken late. O'Hanlon will definitely get his chance to play, drafted or not. Dillard has a good chance right now. Prince isn't going anywhere soon.
  10. Funny stuff man I was listening at the same time. I think the guys name was Jeff. What a moron he was. He was getting defensive about it and claimed to be an MU fan. To think Weiss would take the KU job over an NFL off coordinator position is insanity. Interesting that the Chiefs are in the hunt for Weiss as he has big ties to KC with Pioli there.
  11. I would love for that to happen, but lets not jump out of our shoes and predict something like that after he had a good game against colorado. Come on I mean it was COLORADO. He's only a freshman that we haven't seen all that much of.
  12. Jared Crick. His numbers are great. He may play alongside Suh, but he is still very young and has a great future.
  13. Bear Jones for 3 with 11 sec left. Up 3!! edit: checking to see if his foot was on the line...
  14. HUGE steal and a lay in and one play by Anderson and he knocked down the free throw with just over a min left. Up 2 now.
  15. 33-30 Big Red with 16 min left. Pretty good game to watch.
  16. Stanford has a freakin stud for a RB in Gerhart. I'm surprised he hasn't had more heisman talk about him. He made a case last night against ND. His go ahead TD last night, there was a safety on the goal line that let Gerhart score because he didn't want to get lit up. One of the funniest things I've seen all year on the football field. This guy has defenders scared of him. Crazy. Anyone else watch him dominate ND last night?
  17. Finally get to see them play on tv here in Kansas. Should be an interesting matchup.
  18. It's not necessarely a bad thing considering OSU is usually a BCS team every season.
  19. 20 in the coaches and 23 in the AP would be my guess.
  20. Found an identity? Maybe have ran the ball fairly(nothing eye popping) well the past couple games, but to say it's found an identity is wrong. We are still trying to emerge as a run first/throw second team. Lee has not had very good stats because we have thrown so conservatively. Take away all the defensive/sp teams big plays and try saying we have found an identity on offense... Not trying to be a downer because I support the direction the offense is going, but just stating it how I see it. We're just not there yet on offense. i think we differ on what I meant on 'found our identity.' we have found something that can work with our personnel, and it is a team game, so our offense necessarily complements our defense, and vice-versa. i'm not saying we are where we need to be, i was just saying we know where we should go, which is a big positive after the low point of our season with the two game losing streak. As far as where we should go with our offense I definitely agree. It's just a matter of our execution from here on out.

  22. It would be appreciated if you would stop pointing out the OBVIOUS. I don't think anyone would be blown away by our last 2 wins, but heck..they are WINS. Do you really expect more out of an offense that can hardly hold itself together right now? We are slowly getting our running game back and our passing attack is mediocre. I think we found out a long time ago that our defense is good enough to beat the best, but our offense is NOWHERE NEAR good enough to hang with the best, so lets stop dwelling on what we already know!
