My scenario is like some others on the board. I was raised as a fan of another team. Married a lady from Nebraska and my children were all born in Nebraska. Needless to say, they are big fans of only the 'Huskers'. I realized after a while, no matter how hard I tried, they were not going to change! On game days in our house, everyone wears 'Red', my Georgia 'Red' and their Nebraska ' Scarlet', hence my log-on name. Over the years, my family, the fans and the people of Nebraska have slowly chipped away at me. During the Texas game, I found myself out of my chair, screaming at the TV on more than one occasion. My youngest son said, " Watch out Dad, you're becoming a Husker"! Have I completely converted? Only time will tell... All us "FNG's" have to start somewhere.

Seems there is a resurgence of the game, probably because of these sites. Where we lived in the 70's, you could find a 'game' in most of the cafes we hung out in. One place had 'triangles' inlaid on the tables. Wife and I found our old portable game while packing to move, and got hooked again. Thanks for the link, going to give it a try.

Just moved and realize how spoiled I was with the live TV and Radio of games, now what? Read something about huskers.com having a pay site for games. Does anyone use this for games? Really going to miss sitting at the 'Haymarket' - and a quick one at Duffy's... Looking for a great season!

If anyone is interested, Georgia signed Todd Grantham to a 3 yr, $750,000 contact as the new Defensive coordinator. 11 years in the NFL ( Dallas, Browns, Houston, and Colts ) Like the idea that they are going to the " 3-4 ". Also, signed Scott Lakatos (UConn) as the new secondary coach. Both, IMO, are great moves.
