I know some of you BC bashers deep down wanted to see us lose and we didn't so you have to find things to complain about instead. I don't wear rosed colored glasses so yes we NEED to improve but I was happy with the win.

I hear they need fans over at Ohio! Fankie and his boys really Tore it up today! A whopping 34 yards! Oh and thier QB had a stellar 11 yards on 10 carries! WOW and to think our program was doing so well with Frankie!

Actually our Defense scored twice in my eyes! No way in hell that was a forward pass. The ball was a foot behind the QB's head when Rudd came in there and lit em up!

Meh I would be sour too if my QB was sacked 11 TIMES! By the way the next time you see the Maine QB ask him how our stadium lights looked since thats about the only thing he seen the entire game while laying on his back!

Rams DT John Parrella was a good one. Hell I rememeber lining up against him in Jr High! He played at Mission Jr High while I went to Logan Fontenelle. Sad to see him go...Makes me feel old now! LMAO

I would love to see Dillard get in there and get his feet wet now before we open play in the Big 12. If we got em play em!

Goes to STEWART BRADLEY. He was a one man wrecking crew on those blitzes. He was blowing past those OT's and shedding blockers like they were standing still! All be it our Blackshirts looked like the Blackshirts of old. Keep it up boys it's going to get harder but man your all on a great roll!

The ONLY knock I have on Green is that he needs to watch the WR's eyes and turn around on the ball. I expect that of him though...being a RB converted to a CB I bet is not easy but the kid has great potential!

Tex I was really excited how we could rotate so many different DL players and still be damn effective on the pass rush! Oh by the way who the heck is this Wilson guy that got burnt like toast on that one big passing play where they scored???!! Man he looked lost.

You would to if two of those passes were dropped with in the 10 yard line! QB's tend to second guess themsevles thinking its his fault WR's are dropping the wide open balls. Thus causing the QB to force feed the ball to the WR's. People if Ross doesn't fumble in the red zone. If Hardy doesn't drop that ball on the 4 yard line and if Ross doesn't put the ball down on their 30 yard line we easily win by 35 points! So me personally its little things we need to work on. Hell last year we had a QB we worked on that had no passing talent at all. Atleast this year we have one that can and WILL!

He reminded me of Damorrio Williams the way he ran and the tackling ability of Carlos Polk. I already miss em and only got to see him play one quarter!

I agree our OL was spread WAY TO FAR APART for pass protection. I could understand lining up a bit outside to sell the running draw plays but if you are getting beat in the gaps for god sakes CLOSE THEM UP!

Yes we sure do mis Matt but we also gotta work on our TE's that we do have. Falling down on outs is unnaceptable!

Tex this is a perfect example of fans living in the past! Nothing we can do about it. Times have changed...days of power football are over.....Solich is gone....(thank god!)....Hey look on the bright side...OU lost to a TCU team that had THE LOWEST RANKED DEFENSE IN THE NCAA LAST YEAR! To me it looked like Taylor was attempting to throw that one out towards the sideline where only our guy would of grabbed it. If you look he was getting hit while throwing it. The other INT was a screen play and from what I noticed Ross slipped and never recovered. So to me Taylor didn't make dumb throws just dumb luck is more like it! Hey atleast he doesn't throw his head back and toss 20 yard Ducks like ole Joe D used to do!

Well that sucks! Rudd did come in and take over nicely though! Grant it Octavien had some speed that I haven't seen in quite some time. Looks Dillard may get to play quicker then expected.

I agree Tex....Some of us in here expected us to walk on the field like we have been playing together for 5 years! THIS IS A BRAND NEW TEAM WITH BRAND NEW PLAYERS! In other words it takes time to gel as a unit! Taylor will be fine. So will Ross and our WR's. Jesus its our first game and some of you are already compairing Taylor to Dailey??!!! With no established running game Joe D would of tossed 8 int's this game. Man people be patient its our first game!
