What else do they have to do? Enroll and win championships that's it!

The kid loves Neb. There is nothing wrong with telling him to camp and even play out half his season to see if he grows at all before offering. Keep up with him like we did Marsh and he will wait.

Yeah he was committed, but jumped ship with Jonas Gray to ND. I was more hurt by his departure than older Gabbert. I understand out of state prospects jumping ship when a program is in flux, but Trev Rob was a Nebraska kid. Very disappointing seeing him play at ND.

UCLA...Ever since Owa the pain is too great to lose another one of these studs to those punks! (No offense HuskerBruin) I get the jist that it's a two horse race between NEB and USC. I'm really hoping for a win in this recruiting battle!

Oh Nebraska, you play the game of recruiting so well! It's like telling two girls you want to go to prom with them and letting them duke it out to see which one gets to be your arm candy. I should have let my students know about this tactic and they wouldn't have been so stressed the past month and a half. What if we flipped recruits. Everyone thinks brown is leaning texas and green us. Well what if we swapped prospects? Would everyone be okay with that? All I know about Brown is that he is good, I have no idea what his stats and running style are like.

It's kind of weird though when you think about us offering scholarships, but that doesn't mean that a player can accept it right away. They do it in college basketball too, it's like here's a scholarship and lets keep in touch but we don't really want to accept you until we know more. I feel like scholarships are what letters of interest should be, then the scholarship should be able to be accepted right away if the dude wants to cash it in money in the bank style. That's just the tides of recruiting I suppose though. Hope that all made sense...
