Husker Brothers, I just got off work and I apologize a thousand times for leaving the board after it crashed. I had a long day of work. I will say that I just spent an hour reading every single post from all the threads. We should write a book. Title ideas? besides: We All May Be Losers But Damn We Love Our Skers!

Everyone still under the consensus that Bell and definitely Enunwa were better pickups than this kid? I feel pretty alright about it. I think Turner will pull his own on the recruiting trail as he makes a name for himself. I don't know if anyone else feels like this, but I really hope Gill does really well down there. Like wins all his games besides his match up with NU every single year. He's like bizarro-Pinkel.

Red Denver, I've never heard Devaney called the "Bobfather". Just wanted to say I love that and will probably use it from here on out when talking to all my Husker buddies if you don't mind. They will no doubt be very impressed with me and talk about what a brilliant nickname that is that I came up with it. Most of the time I will refer due credit back to yourself, but if I slip up sometimes try not to hate me. I guess I'm not really interested in Green anymore if he isn't #1 in Texas. It's time to move on. Someone new please. JOKING!!! I think we would be dumb to abandon the power sets. I loved this season when they get heavy and the TE's are just too good not to incorporate in the gameplan more. I agree with the previous post of using them with the ball control WCO. We need to showcase McNeill and all the awesomeness he is capable of.

He said he will announce when he feels comfortable, lot of people believe he will commit to a school sometime this weekend or early next week. If he doesnt he will probably go through another round of in home visits from coaches. Why would he go through another round of visits? I understand him taking his time to decide because he wants to be 100% sure, but honestly what more does he need to hear from the coaches? Yeah and I think if he has any ounce of compassion for Huskernation he would understand that several of us are going to be up into the wee hours of the night just waiting on the outcome of this visit. It will affect our work, our school, our relationships with our children, definitely our love lives. How many of us will honestly make whoopee the night that Owa has a visit with the Nebraska coaching staff? If this drags on another week even, our lives could be in shambles. I'm just glad we have each other to hold on to... Owa needs to think about the whoopee.

What a sweet major! What kind of jobs do you think you can get with that? I just hope whatever it is it doesn't take away from his primary job at NU. Mauling Gabberts and a new McCoy could take a fulltime commitment.

Mavis Beacon keeps us nimble. I agree with all the safety talk. I think Coop can have a major impact on this team in a couple years. If he is as good as advertised, there should be no playing time problems for him at NU. Does anyone else seriously not understand America's love for Notre Dame? I know the tradition, I know the TV contracts, I know the special treatment, but they are like UCLA in college basketball. That love should be about worn out by now. Coop don't fall into the trap!

I hate to mention this, but BC won a lot of recruiting battles. If we are just talking about the battle for high school stars he did a pretty decent job. I know what you mean though with the fact that it is very hard to not get emotionally attached in recruiting, especially in long drawn out battles like this one has been. I'm also an Illinois basketball fan and we had a huge battle with FL and KU over Bradley Beal recently and we lost. It hurts. Owa will pry sting even more cause this kid is soooo awesome! I'm going to stay positive though. EZ-E and the rest of the recruiting fanatics are keeping my hopes way high on this one.

So did we decide 20 year olds can still post on this board? I just signed up and was all pumped to talk Husker talk with all these cool personalities I've been observing for a while now. Tom Luginbill-er whatever can say whatever he wants. I'm pretty proud of this class. Especially if Coop and Owa join the fray, no disappointment from this fella.
