HI freeboard is hinting at a huge commit somewhat soon. Could be..... If this happens, I'm taking the next week off work to celebrate..... I will drink a 12 pack and sit at home on Huskerboard all night chatting with my Husker bros if this comes to fruition soon!

Wow that's an old post that was just dug up from the graveyard right there. I thought Ashburn didn't make grades, or decided to pursue dance at Iowa or something horrible along those lines.

I do respect Quincy's decision making process. He didn't succumb to pressure, but he still chose Tex in the end and that's fine. I think he did things the right way, and I'm sure he will be a great player for them.

Yeah, I guess I don't understand just taking one. We have all these LB's who are apparently ready to commit but are waiting on Sarao. Who will know what he's doing when? Some said in like 2 weeks when he gets his tests back, and others said not until like December when he is finally admitted. That's a looong wait folks. And if we get spurned, that's a lot of dudes who will have already moved on. I think we should take Santos or Moody if they want to commit and hold a spot for Sarao. Just because we took another LB doesn't mean he's still not at the top of our board like we've been telling him.

have heard somethings about this kid....... his team is defending state champs and i find it interesting he grew up watching nebraska as we usually arent on much over here.. usually lots of pac-10 crap...... Maybe they watch via PPV. okay shot in the dark...but i dont think they order nebraska games on PPV... just a guess but its just a gut (hawaii type local people) type feeling... secondly i dont think there is a big husker contigent here... but i've seen a few husker stickers on cars.. but usually military families.... third i know quite a few people at Kamehameha School (multi Billion dollar estate school.. huge land owner in hawaii) and actually work at the public school right below it..... our school is all run down and sad and you look up on the mountain and its this big shinny opulant private school (hawaiians only)... So i'm gonna try to get some more info about the kid and see whats up... a know a teacher over there in the HS so i'll see what i can come up........ Gigga what? In middle school I would have flipped out to go to that school.

while i wouldn't come down too hard on the kid, it sounds like he may need a reminder about the NU definition of a commit. pretty good interview though and sounds like a good kid. Yeah. I don't think Bo lets that fly...

The pipeline is back baby! Having a full (unless another stud wants in) O-Line class by June is pretty awesome. For all my b*tching and moaning about us somehow not being able to lure in big time WR recruits, I'm ecstatic that we can attract such awesome linemen... I guess the kids still remember that NU once churned out offensive linemen like butter. Speaking of WR, I'd like to get some real good ones this year, but I am high on Enunwa from last year, as well as Bell who brings the speed. It's nice to have a thread this time of the year praising, not blasting, our coaches' recruiting efforts. Yeah! It's crazy to see the mood of the board change so much over the course of a year. There was a lot of people freaking out last year around this time when the coaches went on vacay and came back with half their boards taken by other schools (at least that's what the rumor was). I must say that this new positive outlook by Husker fans is awesome dudes. Here's a quick to make Irie think someone committed just because I'm in such a great mood!

Hopefully soon enough it will be one of those USC/Florida deals. We will offer some lowly rivals corner or safety and the people doing analysis will have to say, "Dang we missed another one. Sanders and Bo offered him so bump him up to a high 4 star and plan on giving him a 5th by the end of the process."

Interesting. Can't blame the kid for wanting to get into one of the premier academic institutions in America. And I hope he does well on his SAT, but man it would be great to have him.

I guess I feel pretty confident about our DT's. I would like to see us snag a couple of DE's though in this class. That's why I'm hoping Grimble starts looking around. I'd feel stellar after that.

Iowa said Sterup could play bball and fball?! At the college level thats a ridiculous idea. Fall and Spring sports should be allowed, but those two schedule over top of each other. Would he just join the bball team when the conference season hits? I guess Neb is bad enough at ballin that maybe Doc would let that fly. I doubt Bo is letting him miss any time with the team though.
